THE RING Michael Williams

Postby Delle_MacNamara » Sat May 13, 2017 1:15 am

Hi everyone. I am after some information on a drawing/sketch that my mother-in-law found in a thrift shop. It is with me now and I would love to know the history of it.

It appears to be called: THE RING
and underneath it has "Michael Williams 1968 with acknowledgements to Proffessor (yes spelt with two 'f's) J.R.R.Tolkien"
and underneath that it has "Michael Williams 2002" handwritten
and to the far right it has Copyright Reserved

The piece begins with Bilbo at Bag End, and ends with Gandalf on Shadowfax.

It appears to be drawn in fine-tip pen, and has colour. Each little pic is connected by tree branches crossing through them all.

Any feedback appreciated :) TY
