Henneth Annun (The Forbidden Pool); in Legos!

Linky for pictures.

It is, as you may have guessed :P , made out of Lego bricks. How many bricks? Well, considering that two of these were used for the outer wall alone...I'd say five thousand is a good guess.

I started it back in October, and probably put 45-50 hours of work in on it before all was said and done; a very large chunk of which was over Thanksgiving.

I'm quite happy with the landscaping, but the interior didn't photograph as well as I'd like. (e.g.)

If I actually wanted to depict that scene, I'd go ahead and build a seperate construction, without a roof, so as to get better lighting (and also so I could take pictures from more than one angle).

But my main goal was to build the exterior, the waterfall and surrounding rocks; and then incorparate as much of an interior as space allowed.

For the curious, the entire setup is 20" by 30".

Enjoy! :D
