I played the game for about 7 months and am thinking about getting back into it. I miss walking through Everfrost and listening to the wind whistling through the canyons.

I used to play. But it took too much of an investment, plus I was tired of running after my corpse, and then getting killed on the run.

Well, I did it. I figured it's only $10, why not go back and try it for a month. Unfortunately, the last thing I did before canceling my account was delete my characters, which means I was back at level 1, killing decaying skeletons and wooly spiderlings. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif"border=0>

I might go back someday. But, there are some new MMORPGs coming out soon that should be superior to EQ.

I stopped playing when I didn't renew my account and couldn't get back into the game and I am not working at the moment, so I thought, why bother.<BR><BR>I may go back into it one day.<BR><BR>There is another game comming out called Neverwinter Nights. It should be good. There is also Shadow Bane.<BR><BR>I would like to see a game with the scenery done very realisticly.<BR>There were a few glitches that I didn't like about Everquest.<BR><BR>Incidently, my two characters a 9th level Barbarian Warrior by the name of Ursars and a 7th level Dark Elve Necromancer by the name of Kryptayze were not deleted before my subscribtion was canceled. Would they still be around if I returned?

Everquest is a pretty good game, but it could be so much better!<BR>

I played for a few months but ended up getting bored with it.Really not much more than a multiplayer hack and slash.

I have fond memories, getting my Barbarian from Halas to Freeport after getting him totally enebriated on Wine and Mead. He was totally naked also. ( Corpse Retrieval.)

Ex EQ player here. I was on the PVP server Vallon Zek and a member of the Guild, Grey Companions. I loved the game but played WAY too much and WAY too often. I love gaming, but I'm a 36 year old computer software developer and, at some point in the day, I had to go to work <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0><BR><BR>I am hoping for a more Middle Earth game that does not require 7/24 play time to get anything worth your playing time, and is more RPG oriented.<BR><BR>Any suggestions?<BR><BR>Elbren Galadrim<BR>

I'd like to see a online RPG with very Monty Python style to it.
