yep, we sure are, always a delight Maeg <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0> *hugs*

But a very weird thing happened last time: in a corridor there were some Golems, and Maeglin was fighting them... and I could NOT see anything, no attackers, no items, nóthing! To me Maeglin was slashing thin air, getting hitpoints <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif"border=0> Moving my cursor over it didn't reveal anything, I was very frustrated and had to stand aside, for I couldn't fight air <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif"border=0>. Has anyone experienced the same perhaps?

But in the next chamber, a familiar red circle greeted me and my Greeny and Jaheira beat the crap out of him hehehe <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Have mucho gamingfun everyone <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

That's lag. The internet connection is all weird, so Maeglin has seen the golems and attacking them, and your computer is getting that information. It's very weird, but it can happen with any game. I experienced the same with BG2, NWN, UT and more...<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

About NWN: I recently came across a very good single player mod. Candle in the Dark. It has a few minor points, but the story and atmosphere are awesome.

Ya, this place has been really dead as of late...

An evil cleric? Sounds challenging, never used a cleric before. They aren't strong enough and I don't have enough patience to play one, you know? But good luck with that! Anyways, hope this place picks up again...

well, I have been kind of dead of late <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

trying to kill a party in the city of Baldur's Gate: after talking to some merry fools sitting at the bar, another party comes in and starts a fight... and in this fight I'm killed over and over again.

Maeg, your advice to use potions and spells seems to work, because it's going better and better <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0> *hugs*, but not good enough YET. Will continue this battle though: if I can defeat the Iron Throne, then I should at least be able to do THIS grrrh <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

hehehe <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

Some advice drieske:
You've attempted this fight more than a couple times from the sound of things, so you've got a good idea what you're up againt. My suggestion to you would be to spread your characters out inside the tavern, make sure your fighters are each going one-on-one with somebody. Have your missle attackers (archers or mages, whatever you use for missle attacks) attacking the enemy spellcasters. This is how I do this fight, it usually helps when I can sort of spread the fight out instead of letting things get cluttered up, which is easy to do in such a setting. Anyways, hope this helps, if made sense to you, that is<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Oh ya, make sure that the leader of the Merry Fools (or whatever they are) lives through the fight...don't remember exactly what you get when you defeat that other group but I think whatever it is, you have to get it from him.

Yep Beren gives indeed " the " tactic.

Attack the spellcasters so you disrupt their spells, fight with the rest on ONE person(fighter) a time, so that you can do a lot and let your mage hit everyone who seems irritating, so a bowmen gets flaming missiles on his head or some summoned monsters<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

Well my cleric is back to neutral again, i did a few too good things<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-crying.gif"border=0>

I always used max summons for every battle ... Thye just freaking own ... Summon a creature then boost it with haste and soem other nice magic boosters and you have a distraction while your archers just snipe the enemy ... no loss of HP or running to the temple for ressurection simple and Highly Effective ...

Ok guys I know I hadn't posted here in a while but I was really really busy with making a MOD for NWN it will be called " Fields of glory " ( so far unless we change it again ... ) and it's gonna be pretty large MOD ... ( over 40 different locations ) and many many quests ( more in production ) ... As soon as I get a decent server from my work to host it on and set up the remote access the server will be up and runnning all day and night ...

A little spoiler here don't be surprised if you find there some people with your nicks from here ( I hope you don't mind ) ... <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>

Adios kel

I've recently been starting Icewind Dale 2 again, after a few weeks of weird computer behaviour. Luckily Windows XP has System Restore where you just click a date and everything's set back to that date, except some downloaded stuff. Anywho: I've now got a party of 4 and it's hard. I have a Tiefling Monk/Rogue, Human Barbarian/Fighter, Aasimar Paladin/Cleric and Aasimar Bard Fighter. Going pretty nice at the moment....<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

Also if you play NWN online again, notify me. I'm usually up for a bit of roleplaying. Got a level 5 sorcerer to play with. Btw, does one of you know how Metamagic feats work for a sorcerer? A wizard needs to fill a higher spell slot with the spell with metamagic feats attached, but a sorcerer doesn't memorize...

Well, I'm still poor, I get killed over and over again <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>
The second time I managed to kill all the Doppelgangers, and saved the Duke, but then I wasn't allowed to kill Sarevok, so instead I tried to protect the Duke who was reading his diary... and then I got killed <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-crying.gif"border=0>
After that only reloading, 30 times or more, and every time the Dukes stick their noses into the fighting, drop dead on the spot, and I get roasted pfff <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif"border=0> I'm using entangles, summoning, slashing, even biting, but so far no luck <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

BUT

In BG2 this time, ah MAN, yes we did it, we killed Firkraag, and Maeglin gave him the last stroke hahaha, we were both cheering <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0> (but to be honest, I was sooo nervous for this fight <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif"border=0>), and my Jaheira was dressing in men's clothes, right Maeg? <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0> we fixed that real soon though <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

now in the Shadow Thieves lair <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>
