I've always disliked wizards. I know they're usefull, but I much prefer the sorcerer. They should redo BG and BG2 with 3rd edition rules, so the Monk, Sorcerer and barbarian will be implemented the good way (in BG2 it was a bit lacking...) Ah well, I'll just dream about that...<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

That's something I preferred with BG above NWN. Summoning. In BG you could summon a whole bunch of skeletons, and then use "Summon Animal" twice and you'd have an army. If you try "Summon Animal" in NWN you get one boar. If you do it again the boar disappears and something else appears. It will not have two summons all the time...<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif"border=0> So they're pretty much useless in NWN....

LOL Aglanor, what is that with you and those barbarians? Hihi, sounds to me that you simply like going into a rage and afterwards not being held reponsible <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>

Since I've discovered the summoning (thanks Maeg! <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>), I must say that I'm using that pretty often too <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

And indeed, the sword Maeglin is using now just annihilates all the magic spells before they even come to life hehehe, WHACK, gone is the mage <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>
Could I borrow it to go after Sarevok? Pretty please? <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

And that is why you are constantly plagued by bountyhunters and the families and friends of your victims. "No man is an island", remember? Wanton violence makes for an uneasy life.

Hey Maeglin, Themedes, and Drieske!
Not sure if you will remember me, it's been sometime and my old account expired. My username was either Thorhak or hruskaka. Anyway, I got really busy for awhile and let go of just about everything. Finished residency, had a baby (ok so my wife did the actually carrying/delivering etc.) and had to completely rehab the house because of toxic lead levels. Anyway, it's good to be back. My new username...well my wife and I named our daughter Samantha, which naturally meant I was going to call her Samwise, henceforth I have taken on the role of the Gaffer, and hey a bit of trivia...who knows the name of the Gaffer's wife (Samwise Gamgee's mom)?

So anyway, I think last time I posted, which is well over a year ago, I had created a Fellowship consisting of Gimli, Legolas, Aragorn, Gandalf, Frodo and Eowyn. I have finished BG I, TotSC, BGII and now am entering the final leg ToB! It's gotten ridiculous though. I made Legolas and Elf and gave him the Archer kit. He at the 30th level and his THACO when using his bow is -22! Yikes! I recently purchased ID II, but have yet to try it. Is it good? I tried and actually returned NWN, didn't like it one bit! It's the first game I disliked so much that I actually returned it. Wow, this is really long. I appreciate you all bearing with me during my senseless ramblings. Peace.
Hey there old coot. So you got a kid and got rid of the lead? That´s cool. Your Legolas sounds like the "real" Legolas. Impossible to beat when wielding a bow. Icewind Dale 2 is very action oriented, but much much better than the first one, though it is far too short in my opinion. Sorry to hear you didn´t fancy NWN. I like that game a lot. The online multiplayer is where it´s at its best. Now... Your senseless ramblings have been read and documented. Peas to you too.

That beholder was VERY funny hihihi <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

And the fight against the mage, go go goooooo brave Paladin <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

So Maeglin and Drieske are gaming together, how fun. RPG games are something dreadfully personal to me, I don't think I'd be able to play on line. I failed the "learning to share" tests in pre-school. Oh well. So anyway, wahat's the set-up, i.e how many characters are in the party, what's the party composition, who the leader in charge, do you ever get upset with other and take random hacks at each other to air things out? Answers...I need answers!

Hey, if you guys have a game saved w/ your characters at Spellhold, actually prior to entering the Spellhold compound, I'm presently blanking on the island but it's the one Saemon (the filthy * enter own curse words here *) takes you to. Anyway, there's a great cheat that allows endless exp! Peace.
Please dont give us cheats<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

And well, the party composition is as followed. I host the game and also lead the party.

A paladin and a mage are my characters, and i control Imoen<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-rolleyes.gif"border=0>
Drieske plays with her great Ranger and controls Jaheira. The new sixt character will thus be for Drieske again<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>.We devided it on which abilities we like to play and what we know, a thief is always my favorite and well concering my paladin and mage, i like to continue with what I created.

we have sometimes little arguments, but never big ones and we get along better and better. I agree i dont like to play such games together to, but now playing with Drieske i love it<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

true <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0> I love it too! These sessions always end way too quick, even when we play for hours <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0> And we get along perfectly <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Thieving is not really my style, I like to keep the health in our party as high as possible, ánd to rush in and get hacking... and sometimes I'm too enthusiastic and manoeuvre myself into an impossible position, hihi, that's when we have to coordinate <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0> but every time I learn more, thanks Maeg for you patience <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>

and Hamfast, not too long ago, when a quest was not providing the needed or wanted answering-possibilities, uhm, we kind of slaughtered each other (me being slaughtered that is <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>), I was laughing so loud when Maeglin got crazy, that I think the whole neighbourhood heard me. After that he came to his senses and then we were able to get it right... don't think he saved that one <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

Yes Maeglin, I remember that mass-summoning LMAO, I kept yelling MORE MORE MORE hahaha, the whole place was crawling with creatures brrr, fortunately they had green circles in stead of red <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!! finally it coem to live ... My new MOD for NWN as on line yesterday for 3 hours for beta testing so fra couple minor glitches but the game didn't crash and players had a Huge new experience playing the game ( I added new Emotion wands with more emotions that your char can express now , new trade system and many many new items quests and ... well play and you will see <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0> ) as there were 5 of us coding the game and making it alive ( btw the main code is based on Nordock MOD to give some credit to the guy that invented it ) so it can have different names while hosting it ( depending who host it ) I will give more info as we are ready with the finall version <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

As to the BG it's greta to hear that drieske and meg are getting together so well and have those highly yellinglaughter sessions once in a while I love that game and I'm very very close to finish throne of bhall <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Darklon: Sounds awesome, and I can't wait.

To all: I just reinstalled BG2. I was feeling quite nostalgic and just had to play it again. Currently, I'm using the Kensai, who I must say surprises me. I knew he was good, but I hadn't expected this. Maybe it's the 5 profiencies in longsword and the extra profiency in single weapon style.
