<b>HINT FOR AN "EASTER EGG" :</b> Should you find pantaloons in BG1 and BG2, keep them. They will come to good use in BG2:ToB. You should have three in total...

Well, the third time I played through BG2, I played through it straight after finishing BG1 and TotSC. I own both games and both expansions, remember? <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

hm... that might be a small problem maeg ... but if you want to really see the effects of that item that can be made out in TOB from those pantaloones you can always use the CLUA cheats ... although it depends if you want to do it

i think its in the top floor, first room on the left in the friendly arm inn. the nobleman asks what you want and you can tell him youre there to press his pants or something along those lines.

yes indeed they are there he wants you to wash them ... if you tell him that you are not a maid he will give you some money and you gain sme XP points ( not sure about XP ) ... although it ain't worth to give it away ... therefore keep them and in TOB you can get a cool item if get all 3 pantaloones

hmmm I can go back to the FAI when I'm tired of the city of Baldur's Gate and need to relax a bit Maeg <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>, and start searching, but I thought I had searched every hole in that place <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0> maybe it's part of the ToSC?

To help you guys out I had installed all of the BG games and with the help of some cool Editors and my friend as well as some web sites I had made out this little guide to help you find the pantaloones and create the coolest item in the game ... <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0> <BR><BR><BR><BR>1. In BG 1 go to the Friendly Arm Inn and make your way to the third floor. There is a nobleman at (X 325, Y 673). Offer to do his laundry, and he will give you 'The Golden Pantaloons'. Put them in your inventory and leave. Continue on with the game and beat it, but you must keep the Golden Pantaloons through the whole thing. <BR><BR>2. Export your character from BG 1 (With the Golden Pantaloons) into a new BG 2 game. At the start of BG 2, Your pantaloons are at (X 3117 Y 2691) behind a painting. (the room with the jailkeep golem). Keep them in your inventory work your way into Chapter 2. Start the 'Buried Alive' quest at (X 989, Y 669) and then you end up meeting Lady Elgea at (X 521 Y 354), in the Bridge District of Athkatla. Tell her you are going to take the Ransom on her, and go to the cabinet at (X 399 Y 225). The note tells you to go to the Copper Corronet after dark (In! the Slums District). You should find a man named Welther and tell him your there for the Ransom, he hands it over and you take a 2 point Reputation decrease . Return to Lady Elgea and do a little jig, you now own the Silver Pantaloons . Finish the game, keeping both pantaloons for the whole thing, and export your character into ToB. <BR><BR>3. Start playing ToB with the previous two pantaloons and work your way to Abazigal's Lair, make sure you have a few Stone to Flesh scrolls with you when you enter.(Note: Don't go to Watcher's Keep, just play the Add-On Quests) Eventually you will run into Iycanth the Mad at (X 544 Y 685). He will offer you the scroll your looking for in exchange for a Beholder eyestalk. Say that a task like that is below your Child of Bhaal nature, and he will tell you of some other adventurers, Bondari, Nanoc the Barbarian and Tim Goldenhand, that would do it. Go to! (X 610 Y 756) and you will find the young adventurers, very stone like, in fact, they are turned to stone. Use your Stone to Flesh Scrolls to free them, and tell them about Iycanth's quest, coarse them into doing it, and sit back and watch the fun. After they are finished, you will get the third, and final ingredient , the Bronze Pantalettes (They look like a pair of stylish underpants). <BR><BR>4. Head to Amkethran (In Throne of Bhaal), There is a man named Kerrick the Smith at (X 408 Y 375). Invite him to take a peek at your inventory, and he'll go crazy, hopping up and down in glee. After that he will amke your COOL ITEMS AND RUN AWAY !!! <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0><BR><BR><BR>I hope that this helped you although it wasn't all my doign therefore I would liek to thank my dear friend MAX for helping me putting this together <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0> as well as some BG websites for the exact cords of the Pantaloons ....

As you all can see, getting all three pantaloons without instructions would require more than good luck. Good work Darklon (and MAX).

I smacked those small beholders easy, by using that one cloak that has spell reflection on it. Every time they tried to harm me with those spells, they only managed to harm themselves. After shooting 'Cause Moderate Wounds' three times at me, the little bundle usually dropped to the ground, dead as doornails. w00t.

Which cloak is that Themedes? Havent played the game in a long time so my memory of all things bg isnt what it used to be. The only thing I can think of that reflects beholder rays is the shield of Balduran.
