Thanks, Pippy. I'll have to go buy it.

Well it's not like you can just go to the store and buy it. As far as I know they don't stock it anymore. Origin is very rare, you'd have to find it on Ebay or something, and when/if you do,it's not gonna be cheap.

 Maybe I won't go and buy it then.

With my luck, I'd actually find it and not have enough money to buy it.

Hmm...I hope I'll be able to buy that one cd/dvd thingit...

My friends' mom told me the other day that she threw away her younger daughter's cd of that because it had that one word in it. Right, and if my mom finds out...I won't be able to buy it!

Grar.

In anycase, I still can't wait for their new album :-d

I haven't bought Anywhere But Home yet. I hopefully will be able to soon. My parents really don't care whether or not what I'm listening to has cuss words in it as I'm 19, in college, and live 2 hours away from home. :P

Sure, Valira. I saw the post before you edited it. And I'm not going to tell anyone.

Lucky! I have to wait 2 years to move away, even though I'm going to college in the fall. Maybe my second year I can rent an apartment...or something.

*can't wait to move out*

If your college experiences are anything like mine so far, it'll be worth the wait. :D I like it because I'm close enough that it's easy to keep in touch with pleople and find a ride back home and such. But I'm still far enough away that I don't have to deal with family stress. :D

I'm not sure when the new album is going to come out. Maybe elfy knows...

The DVD (Anywhere But Home) has alot of stuff on it. I'll probably forget something but I'm pretty sure it has: all of their music videos, a concert, bloopers and backstage stuff, and interviews. I haven't had the time to watch the interviews and the concert, but the rest of it is really good. The DVD comes with a CD copy of the concert and I listen to it all the time. :D

Yep, I'm a HUGE lost fan. :D Unfortunately, I had to work Wednesday nights last semester, so I missed the first half of the season. I'm getting caught up though. :D

And Sawyer's pretty cute. But I prefer Charlie. :D I actually think that alot of people like Sawyer, especially since he's kind of a bad guy. Gotta love his glasses, too.

Now that she has it, I can say this...

I managed to find a special version of ORIGIN on eBay. a 19 track version with a remix of Bring Me to Life, Lee's version of Heart Shaped Box, a couple version of Where Will You Go, and more.

I say this because my fiancee also is on TORC and would have learned of her birthday pressie before she had it. So I've kept quiet that I had the CD for abou 2 and a half months. She finally figured it out while I was playing it and she didn't recognise the songs.

As a whole, I like the musicality of Origin better than Fallen. Don't get me wrong, Fallen is good. But Origin is BETTER. Particularly with the song Imaginary, it has more melody and the feeling of escaping to your own private world is more clear. Also there is an ENITRELY imstrumental piece called Eternity that runs for over 7 minutes. It runs from a techno manic to stormy comfort from a nightmare to a kind-of late night rhythm.

It isn't a total compendium of all their songs. There are plent that have been released as singles you can download from Ares, Kazaa, Morpheus or the like. But the music rocks, lyrics are kickin, so if you can get past the price (I bought it for $50) it is worth the cost and effort.

EDIT: Amazon shop Here's a link to Amazon that is offering the 19 track version for cheaper than I bought it.

Wow,what a great present! Unfortuntately I don't have $50+ dollars to buy Origin. But I do have most of their old songs, which I've gotten from friend's friend's friend. I have heard Eternity, very good song, but I like listening to Amy's vocals. I think I like Origin's version of Imaginary better than Fallen's. I'm not sure if I like Origin better though.

Heh...I've had Anywhere But Home since December, but I have yet to watch the DVD.

Ooooh...I don't have the money for it now, but I'll keep that in mind when I do. Wouldn't mind adding Origin to my collection, even though I already have all of the songs. :D

Eternal, Field of Innocence, Away From Me, Understanding, Before the Dawn...gotta love it. :D

I'm curious what the words are IN Latin, not just the translation.

I can recognise the last word 'evil' as being maleficum. But for most of the rest of the phrase, I can't quite make out what they are saying.

I've watched some of the AbH DVD. It's hilarious to watch the band in the dressing room and just trashing it.

Did you see the part where Sean's singing Bring Me To Life in a high pitched voice? Or when he's wearing this big purple dress and dancing around?
