Hey does anyone like AC/DC? I think there cool. Just wonderin. What's ur favorite song by them? I like "highway to hell"...as we drive along to another little town (home)...more or less a hamlet...we concider it our theme song, cause there is nothing there except for houses, and a post office in someones basement...its all good though...<BR>So who likes AC/DC!?<BR><BR>*sunshine*<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

I have also heard that nowadays AC/DC are touring, playing smaller venues that are more intimate and they don't use much of the big show-stoppers, like the big Bell etc, anymore. It would be cool to just kick back, watch them plug in and rock out. If they come to town I am definitely there.<BR><BR>Has anyone heard Living Color's new album, they do a pretty faithful cover of Back In Black (a joke since they are all black and the band newly re-united)? It is pretty excellent, Corey Glover's falsetto rivals Johnson. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

I picked up the "Stiff Upper Lip - Live" DVD yesterday. It is fricken sweet. The concert is over 2 hours long and features some super Angus Young shredding. I have watched it twice already. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

I liked the first half-dozen albums fronted by Bon Scott, with the highlights being High Voltage and If You Want Blood

It's been a sad year for AC/DC as Malcolm Young, 61 years old, retires from the band and was put in care for dementia by his wife. He had a stroke earlier in the year which has affected his short term memory. The band at the time announced that he was "taking a break". Thanks for all the music over the years Malcolm! You're a fighter, and I hope you can get past this. Keep rockin' mate!
