anyone read the bourne series? ive seen the movies, thinkin bout pickin up the books,
opinions/input?

I read the 1st one. It was a fairly good read with some of the typical differences that were changed for the movies.

The first three books are good (the ones that match the original triliogy). Those are the only three Robert Ludlum wrote. Another guy picked up the series after Ludlum died, but those novels aren't as good.

I agree with OhtarAranel. The first 3 are good reads. They were the first 'spy' thrillers I read, which started me on the genre. 500+ books later I still love them.
