Hey has Anyone read the Xanth series by Piers Anthony, if not I highly suggest it especially if you enjoy puns, they are horrible but for some reason hilarious. There is a ton of books in the series, and I've read three, my dad got me hooked just like he got me hooked on Lord of the Rings by suggesting I read the books after I saw the first movie.

I've read about half a dozen of them and I agree....they're definitely hilarious, but then I really enjoy puns. I like to read series books in order and I've been hard-pressed to find many of the Xanth books at the library so I've more or less given up on reading many more of them.

I have the Xanth books, yes. But I only really liked A Spell for Chameleon. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif"border=0> Great book. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0><BR><BR>Here's a <a href='http://www.tolkienonline.com/thewhitecouncil/messageview.cfm?catid=23&threadid=8764#1' target=_blank>Piers Anthony</a> thread.

wildwood I agree with you, Castle Roogna was my fav so far, and I must say that it was helped all the while by listening to the doobie brothers and the guess who. I loved that one because of Johnathan and Dor. Great stuff. But a spell for chameleon was a very good one, the first one I read was a Quest for magic and I liked it but it just wasnt my favorite by any means.
