Theoretically, I'm reading "The Glorious Cause" by Jeffrey Shaara, but I'm not thrilled with it. I've been stuck on page 150 or so for a while. Wish I'd been on this thread a while ago, because I'd have been talking about 5 different books right in a row.

I've just restarted LOTR for the first time in a few years, and I'm so excited!! Can't wait to fall in love all over again. <3

Also just finished re-reading the Silmarillion, and got through it astonishingly quickly, given the written style. Who knew it was a page-turning pot-boiler of a thriller eh? :D

Black Veil. The fourth book in The Green Rider series by Kristen Britan.
Took me awhile to get started on it with so much to do elsewhere. Turning out to be a good read as I knew it would be.

Reading two novels at once again, they being "Love In the Time of Cholera" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and "A Rite of Passage", which is the first of a British naval trilogy by William Golding set during the first part of the 19th Century.

Almost done with Carter Deats the Devil, by Gold. I hope the point of it all becomes clear by the end. It is a good story, but I cannot tell where it is going.

Trying to read Jane Austen's Persuasion(The only one of her big 6 that I haven't read), but life is conspiring against me. I either don't have time, or accidentally ruin my copy of it and have to replace it(the bottle of pop in my bag came open and ruined most everything :x ). *sigh* I will keep trying.

I am re-reading "1776" by McCullough. Living through that year, and continuing with the Revolution took a lot of fortitude.

Crucible Of Gold by Naomi Novik
The 7th in the Temeraire novels. I read somewhere a while back that P. Jackson bought the rights to this/ (these) books. Maybe they could be his next projects for the
big screen. Think I would really be standing close to the front of the line to see them if he does finally make them. :) 8)

I am reading Cornwell's "The Pagan Lord."
Is this part of a series? He seems to get himself into and out of trouble with his mind and his mouth.
