They always do, CR. My days are slipping past me too. :( Enjoy while it lasts.

Don't see any aberration Iris. It actually looks smaller, I think. And me loves Addam's Family! New or old. :D And good to hear some positive news about Rob!

So sorry to hear of your troubles and sickness, LK.

Scribbly-Scribe, Didn't know it took place on Sunday. Heh! :P

Eari - You haven't had a male input so far. And I'm afraid I'm a poor example. Never played anything besides Chess and some Soccer during school. I don't know if you'd count swimming as a sport or pleasure, or as a masculine/feminine sport though. *sigh* I know clearly well about all the bias based on gender. I have seen it, heard it and experienced it on a lesser scale in school too. And sadly, what you say is true.

Rwhen - Good to know you're up and about again. I don't think so really, in addition to what I have said I have another problem of making myself heard out in a group. I try to speak but it is silenced or overcome by someone else's emphatic suggestion and simply agree with it. :P Have a great weekend and a happy friday to you.

Bye!

Rwhen its definitely turkey and the trimmings for Christmas. It's been that way ever since I can remember and I have carried on the tradition only we'll have stuffing/dressing (whichever you like to call it) also. :D

Tomorrow, Saturday. my munchkins and I are off to see Macbeth. I love Shakespeare. Last week Othello, Sunday it's Spartacus a ballet. Should be interesting. :D

Tookish_Traveler pancakes and bacon sound good but never for breakfast however lunch is another thing and that's precisely what we had planned on for Saturday. :D

Hey Vana.

Nah, all the bigwigs jumped ship yesterday about noon. Today is just cleaning up after them. They are a messy bunch.

The news forecasters tell me that real autumn like weather is finally just around the corner. Supposed to get cold soon, like honestly cold, round about the freezing mark, which is a bit low for this time of year. I can't wait, though it's going to force me to buy 200 gallons of heating oil, which is not going to go well with the finances. Might take a second job for a while just to put the cash together.

Hey everyone!
The waterbed heater finally came in!!!! And after draining the bed, and removing the old heater we found out my dad ordered the wrong heater.....So, I'm hoping it might still heat the bed, but its taking a loooooong time. My dad felt really bad, but I told him its no big deal. If it doesn't work out, the seller had a return policy so......

Rwhen, I only play baseball for fun. I had a baseball coach I used to know tell me to keep at it, but I was at the age were I'd be put on the softball team and my "friend" told me softball would be too hard and to never try out for it. So I listened to her.I hope you have a great weekend! And I'm thinking positive thoughts for your move to the new company!

Iris, I'm so glad to hear that good news about Rob!!! :)

Cock-Robin, happy birthday!!! :)

That's a good piece of news about Rob, Iris!

Telta, hope you have enjoyed the theatre and ballet weekend!

So far, I've had a nice weekend. 8) On Friday evening, I went to see a Tribal Fusion dance show with the older daughter. On Saturday, I attended a course on Egyptian dance rhythms. And today, the hubby and I began to prepare the garden for the winter. It's been quite cold here, the temperature was below freezing last night, and they've already got snow up in the north. It should get somewhat warmer again next week though.

Rowanberry thank you. I did enjoy Macbeth on Saturday then Sunday it was Spartacus a ballet. As odd as that sounds it was very good. Only downside to the performance was the snow coming down when we left the theatre.

Rwhen then it shall be stuffing. Although I usually end up making way to much so a side dish of dressing too. :D

HHEEELLLOOOOOOOOO the house!!

Tired from an exhausting weekend that had much to it - hard to get into it all, but I will say it had it's shares of great fun and super silly drama. Nuff said. Another week of foggy mornings that burn off to lovely warm afternoons. No rain in sight. Hope that everyone is well.

hamlet, I do remember doing the heating oil thing, it is so expensive. Did you have a crisp weekend? Meaning did the weather start to turn for you?

CR. All good things do come to an end, I am not sure why vacations seem to go faster than normal days, but they do. 60 isn't bad, I am just a few months behind you looking at the big six O. Hang in there.

BagginsGirl, YAY for the waterbed getting warm again. Even if it takes a while, most are interchangable. Thanks for the positive thoughts...always can use those.

Vanadarlin'...143   I hope you had a good weekend. :D

LIN!!! Great to see you again, the six flags thing sounds like great fun to me. I haven't been there in ages my ownself. Let us know how it was and any other updates.

Siddie. :hihi: Hope you are well.

rowan, a weekend of dance is always a good thing. I hope you get the warmer temps soon.

Ladykat. Hey there.

Telta. We are the same here too....too much of both, but always good for leftovers. :D Glad you had a great time at the play and ballet. Snow...

Tooks, didya find anything good in there??

Sil. Hey lady. Hope all is well.

Scribbles...back to it.

basilllly, an up date would be lovely.

Thanks for the wishes for Rob. :) I guess there are some more tests they can do, but about 50% of people never find out why they have the condition. It is treatable...that is, they can deal with the symptoms and maybe slow it down, but there is no cure when they don't know the cause. :(

Happy Birthday, CR! :D You can still party today, you know. ;)

How are you feeling, rwhen? Vana? Sidd?

We've entered a new chapter with the estate we're supposed to be setting. The family (nieces and nephews and one sneaky cousin) filed a petition to declare the will invalid and divide the estate to the five nieces and nephews. After the initial shock, we started finding mistakes in the petition and are working to counter what they've claimed. They think there's money. There is no money. But prayers and well wishes would be welcomed. It was a very emotional weekend, especially Saturday when we had to tell her caretakers what was going on and that they were named in the petition.

Rwhen: The weather around here is finally starting to cool off. It's still warm during the days, but at night it drops to about freezing, or a little above. It's very nice weather, actually, when you get right down to it. Supposed to be even colder by the end of the week.

Iris I must have missed what Rob's symptoms were. Could you please post them again? I will continue to pray about his condition.

Sucks big time when family can not get along. It is so sad that they are being greedy and wishing for money. What ever happened to missing family or grieving the lost one. I just don't get it!

Vana---these people probably aren't missing this person or grieving for them. They probably had very little or nothing to do with her when she was alive, but now that she's gone, all they can see are dollar signs. Even when none exist.

Iris----too bad you have to go through that. It's really too bad that people can come out of the woodwork like that to contest a will. It's not like they're immediate family----spouse, sons, daughters. Hopefully the judge will tell them to go crawl back under their rocks.

I'm feeling better, and I hope everyone else who was ill is better too. The temps here have dropped, and we're supposed to get rain all week. Even (shudders) SNOW!! :Q :Q

It's only one day, early in the morning, just light flurries and no accumulation----or at least that's what they said. But still......IT'S STILL OCTOBER!!!!!

NO SNOW!!!!! :x

HHEEELLLOOOOOOOOOOOOO the house!!!

Tuesday it is. Hoping for a very fast week of work and for other issues to resolve themselves very quickly. Hope that everyone is well and all is good for you.

Sil. I did see and awesomeness. ;) I hope to be able to get something up my ownself here really soon.

Iris. That estate stuff really is a mess. Certainly hoping that this resolves all well....it can get very expensive to find out there is no money. And many ((hugs)) for Rob.

Tooks...oh YUM. I would love a cheese omelet right about now. ;)

hamlet, We are the same here. Fog and freezing each morning that burns off to a lovely clear day, nice temps and there is no end in sight to it, we are stuck in some sort of "high" pattern. Enjoy the leaves turning and great fall weather.

Vanadarlin' Thank you for being such a rock.  143

Ladykat, I am with you....NO SNOW....not yet. basillly said that he already got a good amount recently in the mid-west. YIKES....I hope this doesn't bode ill for a nasty winter. Hang in, glad you are feeling better.

CR...hang in there. I get up pretty early every day my ownself, the only good thing is the early out in the afternoon.

Sleep deprivation is the new normal, I think. My boss has a saying: "If you working 12 hours a day, you're only working half days." And he's serious about it.

No snow in our neighborhood yet, but they're talking about the temperatures around here dropping to about freezing tonight, and then a bit lower tomorrow. Autumn is finally here for real, which makes me happy. Means I will have to go out in the near-ish future and rake leaves and figure out a way to clean out the gutters, but that's not that big a deal. Lots of exercise at least.

Yes, I am sleep-deprived. terrible weekend. Saturday and Sunday combined I slept 6 wee hours. And yesterday, I had no sleep. Almost none. I dunno why.
I'm feeling sleepy all day but no sleep when I sleep.

Rwhen, I hope all the situations going around you improve and so does your health. Stay well. <3

Iris. That sounds really bad. I really hope all the clutter is resolved soon. Also, I sent you the answers. Did you get them?

Hope everyone is fine.
