Yay. Now a published author.

Just as Tolkien and the Inklings used to meet at The Bird and the Baby, come in here to converse about whatever might be on your mind. This is the place for all off-topic conversation.

Yay. Now a published author.

Confession: I was genuinely uncertain whether to post this here, or in the Scriptorium. I decided to go with here, on the basis that it's not fanfiction, and, well, this forum's more active (most of you actually remember me here!).

Anyway, as of November 2015, I had my unpublished manuscript accepted by a small British press. After a year of edits and other stuff, the book is now out (as of yesterday) in both eBook and paperback, which is very exciting. In case you're curious, the book's entitled Wise Phuul, and is steampunk-flavoured dark fantasy.

Hooray for you, and all this brings;
as guilds and halls take time and sing
the happiness your skills have brought,
those unseen battles that you fought
to bring to life, a dream, a glint,
in published form at last...in print!
