LK.... I love the idea of noodle year. I can eat noodles everyday. :D

Thanks for the flamingos, Ninui. I haven't seen real ones since I was in Florida some (many) years ago. :D

nl... what's happening in the Great Down Under is really sad. We need to start taking these warning signs seriously.

A lot of the fires could have been avoided or much less severe if the RFS had been allowed to do more back burning over winter breaks, but the silly Greens won't let them do anything to the enviroment despite the fuel load build up and fire trails in National parks allowed to grow over. Stupid idiots! Our indigenous people know how to back burn safely so they should be listened to properly. They've been care takers of our great south land for many generations and there have always been fires.

*jumps off soapbox*

Can I have a flamingo without the flames and alcohol?

Flamingos here, flamingos there---

Pink flamingos everywhere.

Never seen a real live flamingo that I can recall

A lot of people around here put fake ones on their lawns....why I don't know. :D

I guess it's no weirder than people who put plastic geese on their lawns.

And then put clothes on them..... :?

At least people don't dress the flamingos.

Do they????

Yard Art? I just purchased last summer, my first yard art of any scale..I had to cut down a magnificent 50ft dutch elm that died (dutch elm disease)..due to the way it grew into one of the sheds we had to leave the stump and it is pretty high up, about 8 feet...so I bought this sculpture to anchor to the top of the stump, in memory of the once magnificent elm that use to provide us shade

She is about 2 1/2 feet tall

I don't have a garden, nor a lawn. A couple of plants in pots. They don't have adornments though. Perhaps I should get some...

Tooks, those are adorable!!!

My only lawn ornaments tend to me my actual cats, and then only when it's nice and sunny and warm and they just sort of flop on the lawn or chase invisible bugs.
