The "Farewell to Torc" form letter.....

Just as Tolkien and the Inklings used to meet at The Bird and the Baby, come in here to converse about whatever might be on your mind. This is the place for all off-topic conversation.

..Well, it's a dark rainy day here in Rhode Island and even better, I have off. I am browsing through our beloved TORC, dredging up old threads and RP remininscing about the old days here. Hard to believe that I've been an on going member for damn near 16 years lol. What an amazing place. When I joined there were only a few hundred of us, and this was the first time I had ever joined a MB. It will always be my "home" on the internet. Love you guys! Oreo/Chris! :)

...Nah...I hate cats! I have two of them and I know that while I am plotting against them that they are definately plotting against me. I might not win this one....

Bumping up the thread again so the Form Letter will never be forgotten. And after all these years, Oreo still hasn't gotten a Mariner. :(

..and someday, maybe I'll get my "brightness" ...
which is actually fascinating
because the "ring" represents the most ultimate of evils...ever...
Maybe I'll go for an Oscar...or Meyer...or both.

I almost considered filling out this form as a joke. But while it certaintly would have been funny it would have also been needlessly melodramatic even for me. So I'll go out with not a bang but with a puff of smoke from Gandalf's pipe. If I'm luck it'll be shaped like a boat .
