Happy Days! LOL

So the thing that's funny here is that I just realized I am in the city where Happy Days was set... that and Wayne's World. I am curious if anyone knows where that is.

I also noticed thagt someone fixed me up with a PM. The Pan De Vida sign in my sig really isn't right for the season. I'll have to take care of that.

GW,

We haven't fealt neglected. I figured if your family was as busy as mine, the goodies might not get made, much less sent out. With me working out of town, The holidays have proven to be very hectic!

Min is sniffling....isn't that somehow crossing a line?

Excellent thread to bring back up Wenchy...

Goodsam....isn't the city you are asking about Milwaukee?

Tooks....posting Charo!!!! Now that is most assuredly crossing the line.

And I think "jumping the shark" has been replaced with "jumping the couch", in reference to Tom Cruise. ;)

Wow! This thread is calling them back home! It's like a homing thread! :D

MIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You've left the bowels of Manwe and come home!!!! Now stay around for a while!!! We miss you!

And Rwhen, and Ayshlyn and Tooks!!! :) :) :)

Now, I must state it here, though I have stated it elsewhere....I now have a friend who owns a llama. :D I just like being able to say that I have a friend who owns a llama. He is all black and his name is Marcus. And he has a very significant underbite. They also own chickens (seems to be a trend there, everyone I know owns chickens now) and sheep....but no duck. ;)

OK...as far as I can tell, in this thread we were last marvelling at Minardil using a smilie emoticon, and getting way too involved in "Happy Days" trivia. What's next......?

Hey look! And oldbie trap!

I thought about this thread the other day when I saw a commercial with a Llama in it.

rwhen wrote:Goodsam....isn't the city you are asking about Milwaukee?

It was Mil-ee-wauk-ay. It means "the good land". I didn't find it all that good though, and I didn't see The Fonz, Richie, Pottsy or Ralph one time. :(
That was last year. I got wise just about a year ago and found a job that didn't require travel. Now I am working from home because the roads around here are way too treacherous to drive on. (I think I should make it clear that I don't have a problem driving on bad roads. It's everybody else that is the problem!)

I'm still reeling at Min's use of a smiley a year and a half ago.

Sorry I've been out of touch lately.

I was on a secret mission to Llamedos - which turns out to be a fictional Welsh Island and not llama related at all - when I was captured and sent to the super secret llama prison at Guantanallamamo.

But I heard about that Guantanallamamo place. I hear they use.... methods... to make the prisoners talk. You didn't spill the beans did you?

Yes the greatest thread ever.

Though I am kinda confused about the probing reference, and why GW likes the probing so much. I don't think any of that took place at the heavy petting zoo....... That would seem to cross a line.

Yes, yes it does cross the line. But, I'm just assuming Pepe was tortured....and isn't there a lot of probing with torture? Yes? :D

And I thought the greatest thread ever was the "Chicken Duty" thread? Or is that just my own delusional mind thinking that. :D

GW,

Hi back. :hihi: Yep, I've been real busy. Lots of work, kids' sports, exchange student fun, travel, skiing. It feels like time is no longer doing its job keeping everything from happening all at once. I look in here every once in a while, but only outstanding threads get much of my attention any more. Needless to say, this is one of those outstanding threads.

Pepe,

Glad to hear you survived the Hasselhoffing. Don't worry. The new president has assured the world that the US does not Hasselhof, so you should never have to be exposed to that again.

Stu,

Wasn't that you in the Starburst commercial?

IE, TOOKS, RWHEN!! :hihi:

The line thread tops the chicken thread, GW. I'm sorry to break it to ya.. but THIS thread has it all. Even Llamas.

Yeah! Now it even has a new verb --

Infinitive: To hasselhoff
I hasselhoff. You hasselhoff. We hasselhoff. They hasselhoff
Past simple: I hasselhoffed
Future: I will hasselhoff
Gerund: hasselhoffing
Past perfect: I have hasselhoffen

Can you tell I'm studying another new language?
