OOC: The Mithril Knights v2.0

Pull out your pack and head on down to the Prancing Pony for some great Role Playing (try to stay in character)!

Well, great minds and all that. I was just just thinking the very same thing. I got a stop to make once The Bard leaves The Prancing Pony I think I'm gonna dust off Erinhue's brother, Beliran...and then I am coming your way. Good way back in....maybe you can save me from Tempest.

I meant to send the Bard to see his brother but I was not sure what to have them say. then it came to me that I should leave that alone so that Anorast has a free hand with how is talk will go. I think what I have posted shows how the visit to home and his brother has lifted the Bard's spirits enough that he could hear and accept advice.

Guru- OK Bro, I can leave and come to you or you can start with Anorast "hearing" me coming I'm done for now and can roll either way

Let me see what I come up with. Working up a post tonight...any idea "when" you'd be rejoining us? I don't think erinhue has been gone too long...before Imladris?

No, The way he's been popping around it should not have been too long an absence. I am lost as far as time goes so I kept my timeline vague. I gots nothing to do out here now so I was coming back. I just wanted ta know how you wanted to start your post. I can have the Bard come to you if you want, I do have an idea for that but now is as good a time as any. Some time in general before Imladris sounds good. Then we can get there together, Its a good place for healing and we could all do some work there, if the Boss is still not ready ta come wrap this up and start the memorial.

I like the idea that Anorast senses 'Hue's arrival shortly before he gets back. And yeah, before Imladris works...gives us a place to relax again.

Agarak of course. Travel is the one thing that Erinhue can count on the old worm to do pretty much on command. I know but I do have Jon's permission to keep those certain aspects of the character(s) that predate this forum

There were "serious" story line type RPs like The Black Tower (where the Champion of the Light began), Elbren's Challenge (the first one)and I believe, Rally the Eldar going on in Talk before there was a seperate forum for role play. That came along about a year after I first joined. When the guidelines for The Pony were established, I plead my case and made a promise to tone down the "magic" and keep it to a certain level. In exchange, Jon agreed to let me keep the Bard, The Berserker and Agarak as they were originally. In turn I do try not to abuse the privilage, and that is what it is, by having Agarak disregard half of the Bard's requests. Jon's been happy with that, and so have I. :D

So, should we be posting in the Mithril Knight thread or the Battle Wanes thread?

I'd say either, or both. I know that's a strange answer, but it makes sense to me.

I cant say that I know the answer there. I suppose either or both would be ok I think it can be up to each one as long as we don't have the characters doing something different in one than is done in the other. As long as the line holds together, why not both if so inclined. I was considering the self same thing. I really thought the MK thread was shutting down and I went to
The Battle Wanes but when the MK thread did not shut down it made no sense for me not to continue the story there. Same storyline in both.

Folks, your intrepid leader here. Here's the deal. The "Guardians of Middle Earth" chapter is officially over. I will be adding a final post to it and asking that it be locked. However, I want your input on this OOC thread. Do we start a new one, or continue this one as the definitive MK place to plan?

Might as well start a new one when the next adventure starts. Keeps things from overflowing. We've always got the guild house over in A&G.

Is there a way to save the story thread to your computer? I have really loved living this tale, it has become my next favorite book and I would love to have it once the thread sinks to the bottom. If any one knows, thank ya muchly for sharing.

I can see if my sister can upload a copy to the Mithril Knight website, along with the rest of the mk stories. She is on break this week so she may have the time.

So, pardon my confusion....are we wrapping up the Imaldris piece in the Battle Wanes thread and then moving to the Warrior's Memorial thread (since it seems to open further down the road), or are we all just jumping into the Memorial thread from this point forward?

I'm trying to figure out the best location for Tempest to clobber the bard... :P Just kidding, but seriously, I don't know where I'm suppose to be posting anymore.....

I'd say let's finish the Imladris part in Battle Wanes. It's setup for the funeral. We can get to the funeral in that thread, but no point in clogging it up unnecessarily.

I'd say so as well. And I look forward to Tempest beating up Erinhue, LOL. Guru, I mentioned in my Memorial post that Meneldor gave Anorast one of his feathers to lay upon Dirk's body, if you would like to develop that, please do.

You could mention the fact that one of the sons of Elrond and a few other elves come with you when you leave Imladris.

But yes, Tempest, it does seem appropriate for you to develop that piece there, then perhaps your account of your arrival outside of Esgaroth, etc in the Memorial thread.
