OOC(3) :: Redemption, The Reckoning

Pull out your pack and head on down to the Prancing Pony for some great Role Playing (try to stay in character)!

Postby Frelga » Mon Dec 19, 2011 10:39 pm

Yay posts! That's a sight for sore RP eyes and no mistakes.

Wait! Is that the road out of the fabulous Imladris I see before me? Dare I hope?

I think Elladan is keen to make that road as inviting as possible!

With the help of a boot if necessary?

I do enjoy the Els' distinct personalities so much.

I must say I enjoy writing them! :)

That last post was tricky; I would appreciate a little feedback. I felt the best way to communicate the identity confusion was to write as purely from the charry's perspective as possible but that meant jumping perspectives. :) Poor Linwe...

Poor Linwe indeed . . . and another masterful post Bardy. ;) I can't wait to see what you and CR are cooking up for Master Boartooth. I suspect there'll be broken crockery to go with Linwe's broken heart. =:)

Will Lady Linwe's mistaken identity issue be resolved?

Will Elrohir end up getting slapped . . . or kicked in the slats? =:)

Will it end in tears? Or triumph?

Will the Bear dance himself into a cell? Or simply into history?

Stay tuned folks . . . all will be revealed . . . As Imladris Turns.

:lmbo:

Sorry, I know that was evil of me, especially since I really don't consider our story anything close to a soap opera but well, I just couldn't help myself.

And that road has been beckoning our company for so long I bet its arm is sore. Let's see if we can actually get our characters out of Imladris in 2012. :P

Seriously, it could work! Can't you see it? On a major TV network - every afternoon? :D
Susan Lucci as an elf-b@£ch. :P

I think I need to get Elladan back to the high table before we put BT on the spot, eh CR? ;) Besides, I've bought your charry a bit of time. :D

Heck, if someone paid us for doing this, we could keep a whole TV channel busy. Romance, action, even sports. :D

Yep, it was a great post, Bardy! Yes, bring Elladan back. It seems Boartooth is caught in the middle of some sibling rivalry. :D Of course, he's leaving Imladris soon with the Scribe and the rest soon anyway, might as well go out with a bang.

Hey everybody!

Here we go, into the New Year!

And a NEW POSTIE!!!

:) Frelga and I started a new post in the dance doc on Gdocs - a convo startiing at the table so as those charries return to or depart from the table (to do whatever! :D ) they can chip in as people do when they're all sitting round a table!

:hihi: Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas Eve and Day!

( I'm currently lucky enough to be off until Jan 3; and have what's left of today and three more days all to myself while hubby is at work. ;) Who knows what sort of mischief I'll get into now that I've caught up on a bit of sleep . . . )

Hehehehehe . . . grand stuff everyone. Stifles laughter at Radesh's thoughts on the Scribe . . .

Hey, that gives me an idea . . . =:) Poor Guilhendar . . .

That was a great post, Scribbles! Now maybe we'll be moving out of Imladris soon. Boartooth and Radesh will probably be thrown out, LOL. Bardy and I are working on a post about the history of the relationship between Boartooth and Elrohir. It should be good when we finish it.

Happy 2012, SOMA! Let's make it a good one.

I love this story for the stellar writing every post provides, but I must particularly commend Bardy's latest because she did something I struggle with. In a scene where tension comes from dialogue rather than action, I have to fight the tendency for the characters to get chatty, which is boring. This was such a great balance of information, characterization, and suspense that I want to frame it for future reference.

Looking forward to Boartooth's backstory, Scribe's revelations, and of course our favorite cross-species romance.

 Frelga, thank you. I did give the post a lot of thought - and I was feeling happy in the writing of it, meaning I was happy because I was writing. :) And it was the first thing I set about doing this year! (nyuk, nyuk)

Here's to more from all!

Happy New Year to y'all. It's been so much fun so far, and I'm really looking forward to some snappin' action for our little band of intrepid characters in 2012.

Aw.... Radesh! He can Dance! hehehe... ( I had to go to bed, so I missed the end of the collab session, folks! ;) )

SSSssoooo.... tell me Scribbles, is it because the well hidden and camouflaged Scribe was able to *inspect* the Twins in their full glory while they skinny-dipped that one afternoon a-hundred-something-years-ago that enables her to tell them apart while no one else can? Hmmmmm? * wiggles eyebrows *

:P

I need to eavesdrop now on my Elf boys and learn what they're talking about. And poor Amras is worried; perhaps I need to eavesdrop on him, too. :)

Y'know, she's never told me how she knows them one from the other, and I've asked many, many, many times. Every time I bring it up, she just trades knowing glances with the muse, who usually then goes arse over teakettle in a storm of giggles.

Maybe one of them has three more eyebrow hairs than the other. *shrugs* Your guess is as good as mine. ;) :P:D

. . . wishes she could be a fly on Bardy's wall when she 'eavesdrops' . . .

Well, you can if you like. :) I can compose in a Gdoc and give you viewiing rights. :)

I am in a funky mood today; unconsolable for some reason. I'm trying to cheer up and sit in ' an attitude of gratitude'. * sigh * I'm sure this, like all things, will pass.
