Sorry, Bardy, for not responding lately. I've been having computer problems which only now have been resolved. I'll go look at the doc now.

I like your suggestion, Scribbles. I wonder how I can use it!! :P

ooooh, yes.... hehehe... got it! :D

CR welcome back to the land of the virtual! :)

And thanks for shooing the shadows away everyone; I went to bed at I think 8:30 last night and went right to sleep, so I might be fighting something off.

Dreamt quite a bit, too. Last thing I remember I was screaming at an ex-Brit boyfriend: " I KNOW HOW TO PLAY BASEBALL!! NOT THIS ROUNDERS CRAP!! "

hehehe... rounders is a bad playground version of baseball here in the uk

Hello there!
I have written quite a bit tonight - (tease! tease!) but as it is late and I'm going bug-eyed I'll post it up tomorrow after a thorough re-read and edit. I'm sure I've got a surfeit of you're and its where I should have your and it's.

:)

How is everyone!? Me? Well, I can't believe its Feb 1. Work is chuntering along. I'm hand crafting normalized data for two different data tables from no less than 4 different tables. Fun! Once I finish that I have to write some web apps to view the data. Fun Fun.
Becoming a daft had hand whipping up SQL queries, though which is satisfying.
It's cold here. I bet it's colder in Poland and probs in Edmonton, too. CR is it cold where you are? Frelga, you live in sunny CA so I don't want to hear it. :P :)

CR did you get your internet sorted??

Ok, let's keep this old story moving along... :)

Hi, Bardy! No, it's unseasonably warm here with no snow or ice. But that's all going to change this weekend.

Unfortunately, my computer is toast. All files lost, I'll just have to get a new one. Until then, it's the library computers for me. *sigh*

Hiya Bardy. :hihi: If it helps, it's cold and drizzly today.

The weekend was glorious, however.

Looking forward to the posting of the writing. :)

Well, that depends on what you call "cold". It was +3C today and our daily forecasts right up to February 8 are for between 0C and +6C. In February. Go figure.

We have less than 5 cm of snow on the ground and I've been out to ski precisely ONCE. *sigh* We're either going to get clobbered in March or rained out this summer. It's been a weird, weird season here to be sure.

Mmmmm, looking forward to some BAP's for sure. :) (The muse has been poking me but I've been too stressed to write. :( Long story. For another time.)

Ok, a few more installments of 'As Rivendell Turns'. :P

Aw Scribbles, so sorry to hear about the stress and the pathetic lack of the white-fluffly-stuff-that-brings-you-so-much-joy. As no doubt you know, left a huge hook for you and Ro. :) We can develop it in time, for we have lots.

And CR, wicked-bummer as we say in New England. Computers have a life span, as all things do. I shall put in a request with the computer-faeries and let's see if things change for you soon. At least you're getting a break weather-wise. :)

Frelga, a glorious weekend in CA - it boggles the imagination. * sigh * :)

And as for Ro - she been poking about here at all? See her lots on FB.

ETA: Omigosh - let a lot of typos slip through that last post. All corrected now. Guess I wasn't as awake as I thought when I put that up. * is sheepish *

And after reading those two excellent posts, all I can hear in my head are the drums of doom . . . oh what havoc shall now ensue?

Not sure what the Scribe is "up to", but I'm sure the muse has a hundred ideas fermenting in her fevered little brain. And she'll doubtless be telling me all about it . . . soon. :P:D

:D Glad I could serve up a mighty helping of mirth, Scribbles.

Now, howsabout a nice fresh SHARED DOC in GDocs for you, me and our ever talented RO?

Seems Frelga is caught up with a heap 'o work, CR is drumming up new tech so let's fill the gap with some love triangle tension?

We can take our time - as we have all we require. :)

And don't forget, there is a squad of elves trying to figure out if they're really meant to come take Boartooth away -

Scribbles and Guilhendar have yet to perform

Harah is wondering if he's got the nerve to go through with his surprise

At some point Elrohir has to track down Linwe -

The muse decided Amras and Mablung needed a convo - that'll go up tonight.

Fun!

We'll I just joined LinkedIn; figured I needed to start developing a professional online presence; makes me feel all grow'd up.

Hey Scribbles; had to scrounge around a bit to make my lunch today. Settled for a bacon sarnie and poutine - and thought of you. ;) Not that you're Quebecois but it's Canadian none the less.

I've got space this weekend so I plan to fill it with

1. no tv

2. writing

3. cleaning optional

I looked at the GDoc - I think the first half is ready to go up. (I've been a right spammer of late, so I won't volunteer.)

Then Scribbles you and I can craft the next bit ?

As for the table portion of the post I've had Harah throw in his opinion. ;)

Okay, I'll have a look at the GDoc tonight . . . before I fall asleep at the desk, LOL.

Tomorrow is a holiday for me and while I have a million things I'd like to do, I know for a fact that I'll get maybe two done if that.

And we're getting snow!! So tomorrow might have an hour or two with skis in it too. :P:D

LOL! I have the whole set on DVD so Radesh moments are always available. ;)

Okay Bardy, the ball is back in your boy's court if you like; or if you want to end the collaborative "dance" segment there, it's okay by me.

The muse has a Guilhendar POV coming up which I may or may not get posted today. We got snow yesterday, but now that the sun is shining, a look out at the park says "not enough to ski". Sure was enough to shovel, how the the heck does that happen? Grar. :P

Wow... this login still works!

:)

Ok, Scribbles - I need your help with the next bit, seriously! I'm stumped.

Maybe we can, as I suggested, post the two posts we've got in that doc? They're short but it will move things along.

Meanwhile we can put our heads together?

Any opportunity to "put our heads together" is welcomed! It'll be just like old times. =:)

And we can post up the first bit if you like. I thought maybe Rodia would like to post up the first half?
