wow, you guys are a brave couple. I teach math next door to an English room and we are always (jokingly) at odds. Just today I wrote down "protein" on the board (I also teach some science) but I wrote it "protien" thinking to myself " "i" before "e" except after c" but noooooooo, curse you exceptions!
Math on the other hand is so straight forward and simple! Just follow the steps or plug stuff into a formula and, presto, you get a right answer! Math is truth, math is the language of creation, I like to say. Anyway, I used to teach 9nth grade English, but that was not one of my more favorite years. I would have died without the teacher's addition spelling book.
