The Entwife in an Elven Womans guise, was so struck with the joy of Elora and Turins vows, that she started sniffling and sneezed a few times, as Arish handed her a few tissues...
Yes Arish - It is all beyond words, and these elfie tears dont stop streaming...Thank you.....How did you guess it was me...Did the no shoes thing give me away?? I sort of feel very awkward in this new body...It shall not last long...All these wonderful people here and the Bride and Groom are so fetching together...sniffle sniffle.....

Arish and the Entwife started to walk around the seated guests and ready the baskets they had prepared...., When Elora and Turin were named and declared Husband and Wife.....They would be the flower throwers, recruiting more throught the crowd...They handed little favors to all the guests...Magical litte packets that would paint the blue and crisp air about the Couple A VIBRANT floral collage....And soft petals To Blanket the first path down from the Pinnacle of Vanalaitaure, for the Turambar's!!!!

QueenBeruthielsCats stood before the Rose mirror in her cottage in Area 51 of the Gardens at Ben-adar, tying her long braid over her shoulder and surveying the situation. She had dressed for the Reception, in a similar gown to the one she had worn to the Wedding of Findis and Asriel, of the usual heavy Indigo silk, again figured with embroidery of the phases of the Moon all along its hems; however, feeling for some reason more optimistic about this Union, and about Life in general tonight, and as if things were poised upon some turning point, she had attached flowing bell sleeves to this dress, the satin inner lining of which was variegated, glossy as a watermelon, or the belly of a rainbow trout, and while she had tied them on, she had hummed, and cast a minor Spell.

Now she finished with her dark braid, streaked with silver, and let it hang there, down past her left knee, and leaving the mirror, she turned critically to her small jewelry chest -- all that had survived the flight from Gondor, and the time at Sea. In truth, over time the stores were sadly depleted... if she had still been interested in such things. But now she wore two Master Rings on her Right hand, the Labradorite Virinhelda and the Opal Kelvaquesta, and they brooked no competition. On her right ear, going up the side, she wore the three small diamond and mithril crescents of the House of Alqualinwë which she never removed, such as she had wrought and sent to Findis and Asriel at Frandion on the occasion of their betrothal (and had never gotten a thank you note, nor heard what happened to them at the breaking of the kingdom, she remembered, suddenly). Tonight, because the Guild of Iarwain Ben-Adar was being given special attention, she decided, she would wear the special brooch of the Sea-Mews, which her father had given her, and which Alqualinwë had been given in turn by some Prince of Dol Amroth long ago: a great stylized, silver pin in the breast-plate style, two hand-spans across, two graceful gulls' wings meeting at the sternum, with crescent-shaped moonstones suspended from the underwings, and the tops of the wings black with inlaid jet. "Yes," she thought, "exile or not, " affixing it to her tightly laced bodice and straightening with an effort, "it takes a Queen to carry something like this."

She swept the Party Favors -- the carved Swan-and-Cat figures on their silk cords which she had prepared in the Garden at Ben-Adar -- from their blue earthenware bowl, into a velvet sack, hoping she had made enough for everyone, and that everyone would know what to do with them, or would try to figure it out... Then suddenly she spun around as if she had just remembered something -- for she had. Seizing the large apron which lay flung over the foot of her bed, she draped it over her gown and hurried to the hearth, and stirred down the largest Cauldron, which, unwatched, had once again nearly boiled over. She had several Potions and a particularly nice Punch in the works -- if they did not get out of Hand. But they were always looking for an opening. And in addition... her 3:00 a.m. Inspiration, the White Chocolate-Wild Cherry-Catnip- Eclairs, were now cooling on the three-legged table by the Window. For as Gil-TolReuel had always said, "It's not A Party wthout Eclairs!" She wished suddenly that she had not thought of Gil-TolReuel... if she could not have him here... but then, she sighed, remembering the chill in the air last night and that she must still fetch her Swan-Cloak down from where it was spread across the branches of the Willow trees, and still bottle these Draughts and Elixirs up appetizingly... and strain the Black one twice... and wondering if Elora and The Black Sword were Bound yet, and if it was time for her to start out for the Reception, and when she should go find the Leopard Prince (and hope he had not been splashing around in the Silver River this afternoon)... and if she would encounter anyone Interesting, on the way. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0> <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>
QueenBeruthiels<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif"border=0>Cats.

(OOC - more connection problems, sorry I'm late!)

Crispycreme, as was his wont, arrived late to the glorious event, after the proceedings had already begun. He quickly and quietly set down his gift to the bridal couple with the other assorted presents already in place. He hoped they would enjoy their gift certificate for their very own personal donut franchise. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0> He then slipped unobtrusively into an empty chair and watched in awe as the beauty and pagentry unfolded before him, hoping his better half would show up soon. Fortunately, he brought his hanky.

It took some time for Elora to notice Arathorn smiling around Turin's shoulder. He had an amused brow raised and something in his hands which he passed to Dark Magus. It was difficult to concentrate on anything other than the man that stood before her, but a discreet clearing of Dark Magus's throat snagged her attention as well.

She glanced sideways, reluctant to look away from Turin's face to see her friend waiting patiently with two rings in his hands. She smiled with dawning realisation then, and released Turin's hand so that they may complete the union. She was quite happy to simply stand as they were, and bask in Turin's love. Doubtless, Dark Magus would tire of holding onto the rings though. The two bands gleamed side by side in Dark Magus' palms, sunlight falling on the smooth metal and gems that had been shaped into a symbol of their undying love.

"There," said QueenBeruthielsCats, stepping back from adjusting the Leopard Prince's "AICAWARRA" (Dire Growl) necklace so that it hung perfectly evenly upon his plush breast, with the jet and amber medallions resting elegantly against his black in gold bulls-eye spots. She reached out her grey left hand, the one which was a cat's paw, and smoothed a stray whisker on his face. Against his massive head, her hand looked like a kitten's paw. Kanyar looked at QueenBeruthielsCats with an expression that would have been dificult for anyone else to interpret, but she said, "Yes, you have to. You are a Prince. This is your home, and these folk are honoring us by coming to Ben-Adar, so we must make them feel welcome. But it will be fun -- just be yourself. Besides, you like Elora." Kanyar gave a sound which was like a combination of a snort, a sneeze and a "Hah!" which shook the very beams of the small cottage, and stood up suddenly, apparently having had all the fussing he could tolerate. With his ears pricked forward, on the alert, he sprang up, pivoted on his huge hind legs and loped out of the cottage down the lawns, disappearing from view.
QueenBeruthiels<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif"border=0>Cats.

Arathorn handed the fine rings to DarkMagus and he glanced back to see many watching, and his eyes found Saralai. The words spoken by Elora and Turin touched him deep. Arathorn stood silently and his mind dwelt on Turin and Elora's happiness, and why he agreed to stand with him. Thinking of the Festival of Middle Earth, he remembered seeing the Lady Genuvere as well. He was going to get a dance with her here no matter, even though he wasn't able to at the Harvest Ball.

His mind came back as more words were spoken.

Vows were exchanged, but she barely heard them... Her mind wandered to the last wedding she attended, again, and again, and again. The memory of that time seemed more real to her than the reality that was unfolding before her eyes... She felt the heat in her cheeks and tried to shake the flashback.

The trott of heavy hoofs somewhere far to the back made her turn her head. She watched as Friend suddenly snapped her fingers and vanished from her seat! As Enchantress' eyes scanned the landscape, trying to locate the vanished Friend, she suddenly froze.

Two figures, one of whom appeared to be Friend and the other a dark, beautiful lady, were walking alongside a knight, who seemed to be departing. Her throat was so dry she was unable to swallow. An urge that she could not ignore, to rise from her seat and run after the departing form woke in her being, but within seconds, she had second thoughts... She couldnt force him to do anything, but she could not let a chance to see him pass by... She wondered whether he knew she was here.

It would prove a challenge to move out of her row, past all those whose eyes were intently focused on the lovely pair in the gazebo. Could she just disappear and transport herself? She was always cautious to avoid such displays in public places, save for emergencies... but Friend had done it... and this certainly did qualify as an emergency in her mind. Her heart was beating incredibly fast. With a wave of her hand, she vanished from her seat, hoping that noone would notice the strange occurence.

She now stood before him. Friend and Raven gasped seeing her appear out of thin air. She didnt blame them. She curtsied politely before them, acknowledging their presence, but then her gaze returned to the one who stood straight before her. Already slightly embarassed by the style of transportation she had to use, she could barely contain herself from an outburst of overwhelming emotion now that she stood face to face with him.

He seemed more shaken by her very presence than startled by her strange appearance. She slowly covered the four step distance that separated them, and wiped the streak of a tear from his cheek with her trembling hand.

...And so you have come...

A weak smile broke out upon her face as she stood before him, teary eyed and breathing very rapidly.

Friend was quite startled by Enchantress’s entrance. Friend quickly grasped Barad-dur’s hand and firmly shook it, saying, “Please come to the reception, Barad-dur.” She then turned to Enchantress. “I’ll leave you two alone,” she said smiling. Friend snapped her fingers again and transported herself back to the wedding.

Words of love and promise had been spoken and Darkmagus stood before the happy couple holding two perfect rings in the palms of his hands. Turin and Elora stood hand in hand, face to face and all the world that mattered was in space between their overflowing hearts.

The moment, paused to seal its memory in every witness mind, was filled with the resonance of a single perfect note. Erinhue stood beside his lady fair and laid his open hand on Agarak's strings. The harps music wove a spell of romantic magic as the bard began to sing.

Forever one two hearts will stay
When joined upon this wedding day
To share the woes and joys of life
From this day on as man and wife
Beyond this mornings dawning glow
The depths of love two hearts will know
Together traveling life's road
Each one to ease the other's load
And in each other to delight
Through storms to hold each other tight
Now never more to be alone
Each heart will call the other home.
I took the ring from Darkmagus and looked momentarily at it. A beautiful work Khazdul had performed, and as I took Elora's hand in my left, I slid the ring upon her finger with my right hand, and the center jewel shone with a blue-white shimmer as if it were the dancing star of Varda that appears in the skies this season. I leaned and lifted her hand and kissed her finger by the ring to seal my commitmment to her. I would forever be wed to Lady Elora Starsong from this day forward. I smiled as I lifted my eyes again to hers and I was lost once again as the harp resonated and the Bard Erinhue sang.

Elora sighed as Turin gently placed the wedding band onto her finger and bent over her hand. The ring sat neatly above her betrothal ring catching and refracting light as it fell across the gem within it. It's beauty was that of something made by a Master. She felt unshed tears rise again to her eyes, as Erinhue's song wafted across the gathering.

Silently, she collected the remaining band from Dark Magus and took up Turin's left hand. She eased the wedding band onto Turin's finger before gazing up at him. It was woven from mithril and gold, in the same flowing pattern as her circlet. A violet opal fired amongst the strands, its smooth surface etched with their combined House signs, and catching the bright colours within the gem to fling them outwards to the world. Finally, she bent over his hand, gently brushing a kiss over the ring through the veil.

When she straighted, she did so in the knowledge that she stood now before her husband. Her love and pride for Turin shone clearly from her face and bearing and she stepped yet closer to her beloved, opals on silver chains tinkling softly in her hair as she did.

The softness of her hand in mine sent shivers me. The ring was wonderous, and as Darkmagus prepared to say more, the sun and Elora's hand combined and jets of bright white light beams shot out from her new ring, and a turn of her hand made them spin, and just as sudddenly they were gone. As Erinhue's exquisite song ended, a touch came from Arien as she led Anar across the sky, and I looked in a squint toward them as they had westered and nodded. More legends come to life for me through Elora's eyes. I gazed at Elora before turning to Darkmagus as the wind fluttered the dressed of Elora and lady Eowyn beside her, and rustled the leaves of the trees and rippled the surface of the mirrored waters. I could not believe it was all true!

"Well, so much for my escort," said QueenBeruthielsCats to herself as Kanyar disappeared into the woods. "But I agree, I think it must be nearly time. I think I must be on my way to meet the Revelers soon, for the Deed must be nearly done, unless there has been some untimely delay ..." As if in agreement, suddenly the many brilliantly colored birds who have been feasting quietly at the bird feeders and roosting in the trees all over Ben-Adar suddenly burst into song, and a cloud of herons above the lake takes flight. QueenBeruthielsCats feels a her own heart suddenly pounding in her throat, and the Sky flickers as though with heat-lightening (or else it is her eyes, for she has been working hard), and Sun seems to be shining very brightly, for every leaf on the interwoven Weeping Willows is reflected in the surface of each birdbath and each brimming Gazing pool, and every blossom on every laden branch seems a jewel now outlined in white gold and swaying expectantly in time to the Music, which is now come drifting like a Madrigal on the warm breeze over the Hill. Shading her eyes with her right hand, she announces to the Garden (and to Yavanna who she knows is watching), "Congratulations and Bright Blessings, Elora and Turin Turambar!"
With a final glance at the simmering Cauldrons and party tables, and tucking a special small silver-bound flask in her sleeve for Esteemed Prisithorn, she strikes off across the lawns for the Reception and the happy Couple, hoping Kanyar will join her on the paths.
QueenBeruthiels<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif"border=0>Cats.

The breeze picked up pace momentarily, perhaps following the bords on wing across the skies above us. My own breathing quickened with it, in anticipation of the proclamation to be made by Dark Magus and of what would follow those words. It's hard the define what exactly ran through my mind at that time, the first instant I looked upon the world with my husband beside me. The silk of his shirt sleeve brushed against me, causing me to smile. Yes, it really was happening. Turin and I were wed at last.

To the side, Eldarion had already started to fade. He would have to return soon, having witnessed the union. I could feel his gradual withdrawal, but stronger still could I feel the soulgem beneath my dress. It radiated an intoxicating mixture of love and happiness, augmented by what I felt directly from Turin at my side, which was impossible to ignore.

I raised my head to await Dark Magus' announcement, unmistakeable joy upon my face. My hand, resting on Turin's arm, tightened gently.

The words... they echo in my ears as they are said. My hand slowly lifted the veil and it settled slowly over the back of her head, and as she shook in anticipation, I moved slowly to her, taking her into my arms and my lips finding hers with their sweetness abounding. I drank deep from her again and again, oblivious to all there as though we were by the falls once again. I embraced her and could not bring it upon myself to break away. A slight clearing of Darkmagus' throat didn't deter him and Elora pressed ever closer to me....

Our futures hinged on that kiss, sealing our vows and our path through time. Before the gaze of all that had gathered and Valinor, the kiss stole all thought from me. Eldarion, my brother, left while I lost myself to Turin's embrace. His parting message was one that I would understand later, but for the present I was consumed by the lips against mine.

I am not sure what it was that finally brought the kiss to an end, and I can't say how long we knelt in that embrace. I was beyond restraint, so it was not I. Perhaps it the cheering of the guests that found a respite. However it was managed, reluctantly we parted and rose to our feet. The smile on my face was mirrored by the one worn by my beloved. Again I found myself falling into the dark eyes that shone down at me. I traced a finger along his jaw, before turning to collect my flowers from Eowyn. A broad smile on my face spoke of the gratitude I felt for those that had stood with us to bring this to pass.

I beamed at Eowyn, Dark Magus and Arathorn, before turning my attention back to my beloved. The laughter and clapping of the guests demanded a fitting response. As Turin bowed, I dropped a deep curtsy. The bridge to the awaiting reception area beckoned.
