Whew! It's a good thing the bf decided to code for multiple users last night...otherwise there would be partial threads everywhere! <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Hobbi, glad you're getting such good usage from it <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

Hue, thanks for starting up the OOC <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

As for my post, it too is at Hobbi's point. But that way, I won't have to post for a bit and you can see into the future <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0> Nothing really happened along the journey to the river, except that Lurea slept, so a post about that would have been pointless.

NN, Hehe! A trilogy...I like it! We'd just have to figure what would be the third part... <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0> Of course you may join, my wonderfully-literate friend <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

Suilaid Mell, I posted something but I'm not too sure where it's going right now. Maybe you could tell me a little something about your character so I don't write something she wouldn't do <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-devil.gif"border=0> Should we join the search for Ture or did you have something else in mind? do let me know. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

*~Arwen

ArwenS, yes, I was hoping to join the search. I have a bio in the character archives, p.11. Unfortunately I don't know where that is as far as the forum goes. I think there might be somebody else who does though..... (hint to anybody who knows)

Brief sketch though, Mell is a Bard Exemplar, elven, she Is actually, Elrond's niece, his brother Elros (who later became the first King of Men) had a little fling with a young elven chick, and Mell was the result. She doesn't bank on it much other than a place to stay in Rivendell, and a nice connection to Elrond when a thread calls for it. She's a romantic at heart, has some interesting stories of the past (more of which will come out as threads develope and her character is refined), and is willing to help out anybody in need. I'm very flexible with the character concept, so I can probaqbly work with whatever you put in. My email address is in my profile, so if we are going to be working together closely, we can communicate that way instead of helping to create more monster OOc threads. I'll check out your post now and if there's anything REALLY wierd, I'll edit this one to tell ya!

Okay, one big thing, I actually have no idea that Ture and obbi are missing. I was upstairs when all that happened, helping heal Anorast. I do know about the fight, and could tell there were major problems going on, but nobody told me that they were gone either. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Hi all! I'm in (without asking first!!). Ness will definitely join one of the groups; I'll probably keep her with Parm, if that works OK. I'm still a bit stuck with what to do with Alfirin - she's more fun to write, but she rather burnt her bridges with the rest of the bards.

Would it be an idea if someone (Erinhue?) wrote everyone having a night's rest and waking up in the morning to plan the chase? - with these big threads and lots of plot lines it always seems hard to move on to the next day, unless someone takes responsibility for it.

Heather: you are welcome to link up with Ness and whoever she is with once you return from dropping off Willum. (although I am not sure how far away that was - you may be forced to wait a little in RP time to allow for the journey)

Well, I’ve already written to the poor fools who’ve agreed to allow Culanir to join their company but here are the salient points again.<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

Already, this is too fast for me. Fourteen posts in the past 24 hours!<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif"border=0> So this is just to let you know that I’ve not even read the RP thread and won’t be going to do anything until tomorrow night at the earliest.. so Culanir will just have to lie there.<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0> Also, I'm not prepared to be drawn into the kind of pace we've been going at for the past three months.

RL is getting very frantic (new job, transport upheaval in London, cross-stitch that has to be done before CS comes after my blood). I’m going to write Leoba and Maelgwn out as soon as I have the time to put metaphorical quill to parchment. And hopefully I’ll keep up enough to justify my presence here with one character.

Leoba/Culanir - as one of the culprits for the number of posts in the new thread, I would say in my defence that what I have been doing is pure character development. (I need to - at least on appearances - mellow Alfirin a little if anyone is going to talk to her!)

We do need to draw breath, though, and I repeat my suggestion that someone authoritative writes everyone having a sleep and rest, recovering a little from their injuries, waking up in the morning and the hunt beginning...

Meanwhile I promise to sit on my hands and not write again for twenty four hours. Well I'll try...(Alfirin is being a bit insistent right now...)

Leslie,

Since you have read the previous thread, I see no reason why you cannot join. Some of the already extracted threads don't have titles--as they were done before my bf added titles. So, if you want one of those threads to have a title now, you will have to use the extractor by putting in the catid and threadid, then click on, I believe, the last link, to remove it and to re-extract the information. That way, threads that continue to grow can be taken off the page and redone.

Leslie,

Sounds like you are on your way <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0> Fala and I are talking right now and ,if you wouldn't be bored with the company, would you like to join our crew of 3 elves? The group consists of Fala, Tinu, and Anorast (Guru)--2 WeatherChangers and 1 Warrior. Would you like to be our second warrior? That way, we can have both brains and brawn <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

Fala says that as all elves, we can travel longer and further than some other groups, we'll have several inside tips as Tinu knows Lurea's past and Fala is Lurea's cousin, Fala knows waterways like nothing else, and she is very excited to learn from RPing with you. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

So, whaddya say? <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

I agree with Hobbie most threads start off in a flurry and then slow down. It didn't happen with the wedding thead but I think we can try to slow the pace here.

What Nessie is doing, chacter developing, is a cross move. such delving into reasons for actions can often help direct those actions. It's a good idea for those itching ta write. I will put us ta sleep and wake us up as some one suggested but not right now. That's mainly cause I got a nasty cold and I'm going ta bed.
