It's been quite a while since I had the spare time to write two posts to a story thread in the space of one week! :P  Might not happen again in the near future with the holi-daze rushing closer! :D

Mae govannen! I have enjoyed reading through the story thread, and its quite a good write. :)

I have a question for you all. Would it be too far out if I wrote a post or two when/if you arrive at the Last Bridge Inn? I could write a bar wench or keep or something while you are there. Let me know if it is ok with you all.

Slow is about all I could handle these days. It would only be a minor character write.

 Shadowfax! I hear you! My fingers are not working as well anymore so it does take time to type!

And it will be best for me to be in one that does not move so fast.
Thank you for your warm welcome and confidence in my writing. I will go over the story again and try and figure the best entrance. I will post my character in this thread before I ever post.

Ok.. maybe I'm out of this loop but the shadow in the Forsaken.... one or many?

Also... if anyone has a brief summary of the timeline that would be helpful for me to get cemented in here in thought. But it isnt necessary.. I can work it out from reading.

The shadowy figure could be anyone really or any number of people.............I have nothing planned out for him/her/it. I consider it a community character to be used by anyone who wants to use it :P I'll let strider state the timline.

Hey! Welcome Raven! Glad to have you aboard! :)

I've a question. Who'll be taking the role of the 'bad guy's'? Willl it be you strider? Just wondering when we'll get a bit more info about them.

Sounds good to me. :)

I'm also wondering about the stranger back in town who was watching the Inn. Is he 'community property' also Galhadrim?

At this point I think we all are moving the bad guys along. Kind of reminds me of how the 'Fellowship' was writen. The bad guys were there but they were only seen as the main characters encountered them.

The person watching from across the street is community property, unless I see another way to get in a dig on our Canadian friends. (What's the current medal count?) He could have been the one Tempest had facing off with Akara and could also be any other shadowy character that has come through the posts that I'm forgetting now. He may have a mind controlled troll or two hanging out around Weathertop for backup in case he looses the party at Bree. Or he may use them as anvil to his hammer as he pursues. Or they may not exist at all.

;)

bad guys? well to be honest...I'm not exactly completely sure yet. This is definitely an old style TORC RP and I think we like it that way. As for the timeline...what was Fyre Shadowfax? I would say maybe 10-15 years after Awakening Fyre for the timeline here...and to be honest I can't remember if it was before or after the war of the ring. I think it was before...Shadowfax?

Metal count or medal count? :P We're tied for medals btw...and the Aussies have us by one! Sad when I'm not even sure they HAVE snow down under! LOL and as for hockey...both the US and Canadian MENS teams needed the peg knocking down...that's what happens when people get too big for their skates I guess. Speaking of skates...I can't stop saying Oval Lingotto Mr. Roboto.

8)

Ok back to the RP. As for the baddies...not sure. I'll write something soon guys sorry for the delay...some family issues :(

Timeline wise I was thinking it was somewhere in between the Hobbit and the Fellowship.............there was like 75 years or so between them I think. Plenty of room for us to make trouble.
