Hey Redneck, I tried send you a pm through Torc but I don't know if it will work for you so I'll repeat it here.

To answer your question fully I'd like to send you an e-mail, but I don't think the addy I have is current. Can you post your addy in the thread or else set your profile to show your current e-mail address?

Thanks!

Downloaded and saved it until I had time to read it.

I liked it G! Nicely written, with just the right touch of intrigue, suspense and a hint of romance to boot! I especially liked the open ended finale that left what might happen next up to the imagination...or perhaps you are planning on expanding your story?

Anyway Congratulations!

In case anyone is wondering why my posts have been edited, I've been going back and editing out all the irritating little boxes that have suddenly appeared in place of some punctuation marks! :x

Anyone else seeing them?

Yes! I just did the same with another post of mine! What in the world is going on? Does TORC have gremlins?

Well Tempest, I don't know if there are gremlins or not but I think I've solved the problem (through trial and error), but I don't know if it will work for anyone else.

My OS is Windows XP and on the toolbar I clicked View, then encoding. I set it to User Definded and it got rid of all the strange boxes. The only problem is I can't get to to stay on that setting. Everytime I change pages I have to reset the encoding. A bit inconvenient, but it works. :|

Howdy, y'all!

Just letting you guys know that I am around...I don't have regular 'net access right now. New place, no internet, that sort of thing. I still get on often enough at the local coffee shop that I can keep track of things.

In fact, giving the pacing of this, it probably won't even make a difference. Huh. <happy sigh> I love you guys.

I have to make a similar post here. I can't seem to get on this site from my laptop and that's my primary means of internet access. I still want to continue Badger's arc here in Tribulation and I'll catch back up ASAP. Did I mention recently that our fourth child was born in July? It's made for a busy summer. He's a nursing machine and Cherie can't get off the couch for more than an hour or so at a time. The practical effect of that is a boatload of chores that I have to get done. On top of all that, I've got two more stories I'm working on and I've started a blog. www.scriptoriusrex.blogspot.com So I'll contribute more to the story as I'm able. You guys are all great!

I just wanted to congratulate you on the new Galhadrim! :) Thanks for the photo - so super cute! I'm really happy for you and your family  (you should e-mail me sometime I think I have your wrong email address or something as it's bounced back a few times)

I'm still here also, just been really busy and overwhelmed with some life stuff lately - but I'm thankful to God and happy I'm not the one in control of it all! :)

Cheers!

Having our first blast of winter! Going to have to bring out my woolies!

Winds coming down from the northwest bringing a blast of artic chill that really is a bit too early! :( Only a light dusting of snow so far, but inland, away from the lake, there's a few inches on the ground in some spots.

How is everyone else? RL still busy?

I miss everyone too!

RL is always a bit hectic for me and that 'bug' has been nipping at my brain, but I can't for the life of me figure out how my character can start anything moving.

Any help out there?

Happy New Year!

Color me still interested. You can also color me busybutabletomaketimeaslongasitsnottoooftenlikemaybeonceafortnightorso. You could also color me a kind of reddish pink, if you were going for strict visual accuracy.

present and accounted for.

I for one plan on finishing this tale, regardless of how long it takes. :) It's a swan song of sorts. I think we just have to keep with it - I wish those stupid "notify me when a reply is posted" thing actually worked!

sorry for my lack of involvement, to say life has been hectic is an understatement. I've been busy with a few non-paying jobs and have done a couple of websites, which turned out pretty good plus with work, family, horses, church and guitar - i've been going full tilt. However - winter (such as it is :) ) is upon us and hopefully that means the muse will strike sometime soon. Personally I miss the live chatting - that kind of helped spur me on from time to time - however living in different timezones sure doesn't help. hope you're all doing well!

I’m not sure if this story will be continued, but if does, the character of Hunter will not be continuing on the journey and will stay for a short while at “The Last Bridge Inn” to heal before returning to Bree. This was my original intention from the beginning. There are other characters ‘waiting in the wings’ :D who are better suited for the story and they were appear as time goes by ( and I mean that figuratively, for I need time to pass in the story before they can enter! ).

Anywho…is anyone still out there?

I think it will continue. I'm busy right now for a couple more weeks, but come June I'll have more time. I might even make a post or two.

And yes, my notification thing worked, for this post at least.
