Frelga, I have a feeling Geli and my girl (uh... what's her name again? :P I can't get Illy out of my head... never should have let her come up with that B^) are going to get along spectacularly badly. On Ilarieth's part, anyway. =:)

:hihi: everyone. I have a 10 page paper to write before 10 tomorrow morning that I haven't even started yet, so no post from me before tomorrow, but I'll be thinking! :D

So Frelga, are we going to assume that Ar and Geli have met before this, or start over from Meeting 1? Either is fine with me, though I'd love to see poor Ar's reaction upon seeing his old ... acquaintance. :D

Well hello there Luthy :D My real nickname is Mr. Fantastic (just cause I am) ( ). But there are some amongst us . . . *clears throat and looks pointedly at rwhen * who shall remain nameless, that like to take the p out and call me things like,

rwhen wrote:Shaggy, Shagglemiester, The Shaggy One, Master Shaggy... or just give a good whistle, usually he comes a runnin'. Big GrinBig Grin Alternately you could toss a stick or a side of ribs

Ahem! yes, so any variation of Shaggy (EXCEPT Shag please :P ), whistles, ribs or even random pieces of wood will generally get my attention (as will cats, chipmunks, squirrels, gophers, etc)

and WOW  great writing so far. *now feels compelled to write something a wee bit less brainless than usual* :bookworm:

Did I do alright by you in my post, O Shaggy One? I will look forward to seeing your post. :D Take us on down the road if you will. The rest is up to you. I will play along just fine.

FOLKS.....if we have not managed to get together after a sufficient amount of time, I will create a festival or fair that we all stumble into from points wherever and we will get the final group, of sorts, together. Not that we will all travel together all the time, but when I thought of this RP, it was in my mind that people from all over ME would be traveling and it seems natural to me that groups would form....sorta like the wagon trains of old when migrating to the West in the USA.

There is still muchos time, I am just posting things as they occur to me, that I didn't put up originally.

Sil, if you don’t mind, I’d like to keep that first meeting in the backstory of Ar and Geli. What if she doesn’t make an impression the second time around? :Q

So Ar is walking along the road, isn’t he? I could arrange a ride for him…

Luthy, it’s been so long since I’ve written with you! Geli certainly doesn’t appreciate anyone else taking the spotlight from her. Well, maybe the sword dancer… I do tend to burn out writing conflict pretty quickly. But we’ll see what seems fun as we get to it, hm? :D

So, I left my character's location out of my first post on purpose, but I think I've pretty much limited it to be either from the east or the south of Gondor. It seems like most of the other characters are going to be meeting up in the north. I guess I could have my character make his way to the place formerly known as Eregion, leaving the mumak at the Anduin.

Remember that Gondor is the destination and it is expected to tak ea year to get there, thats why most of us are in the north....otherwise it will be a long long time before your character meets up with anyone

Nice mumak...nice mumak...Here's a nice little mouse for you. Oops, spooked the mumak. Oh, isn't this eagle a stinker? CR and the eagle will be going here and there, not directly to Gondor, and their path will be quite winding, so they won't be there ahead of the rest.

Although should be heading for Fornost straightaway. I'll wait on Rhwen's next post before they meet.

And, great posts, everybody. This is shaping up to be an exciting RP. :)

Oh yes Armenelos, I agree with Frelga (who, by the way, is a pillar of salt in another reincarnation but we won't mention that here :D) keep the Mumak - pleaseeee! Bril could have such fun meeting it

And yeah you did most excellently rwhen! You have Bril pegged :D (although I'm a bit concerned that you seem to be able to think like me so awfully well - that could not be a good sign :P  )

Okay Shaggy!! You my friend are a sandbagger...*nods* Your post was excellent, I loved it and now of course, I will have to retaliate. So watch your own backside. ;)

Yes, you know...there are some that ya meet in this ol' world and you take no notice one way or the other and then some bright light shines on the hour of meeting another. That was the case when I met you in "Welcome". I just knew.

Good thing, I enjoy your RP company. :D

Well done and thanks for leaving a hook for me.

Armenelos, I would also beg for you to keep the Mumak, it gives depth and layers to this RP and it appears we are all wanting to get a gawk at one. :D *is reminded of buying tickets for rides on the pony at the circus*

:P

:hhi: everyone. Busy work day today, but I am watching.

Armenelos, have you thought of going somewhere else besides Gondor? Somewhere that would put you in the path of meeting up with us? Not that you have to, just a thought here. If I can think of a way to pull in the interaction and I will think on it, I will let you know. Either way, glad you are posting with us. Very unique and interesting character.

I have some things to say to her too.

I didn't quite intend for her to be quite that manipulative, but she just sort of came out that way -- 's what I get for using a character I've never used before. B^

Anyone can feel free to come upon a sleeping amateurish thief girl whenever they need something interesting to happen. :P

And... thanks, guys, I'm glad it was okay. I'm trying to get warmed back up. *rubs hands together*

Great posting everybody. I was about to post, but maybe I'll hold of on meeting Fionavar yet until Shaggy posts and tells his story. Don't want to interrupt a good story.

CR: Something I'd like to hear.

Gwaeryn: And Caloo need not be spooked. I like ponies. Boy, do I really like ponies. For breakfast, lunch AND dinner. Well, maybe not pack ponies. They're a little too tough for my taste.

Just posted. My characters are developing as they go. I've been reading The History of Middle-Earth in its several volumes, especially on the way Tolkien developed LOTR, and how it evolved into the present epic.

The way he slowly developed Aragorn was quite interesting, how he was originally a hobbit nicknamed Trotter. A real rugged type.

CR is already well-traveled, and the way he is developing, is already somewhat rugged, and there's a little of the original Trotter in him. Except for the wooden shoes, that was somewhat tacky, and I'm glad JRRT abandoned it and eventually made him into Aragorn.

But I'm going to be borrowing a little bit from his original idea with Trotter. I like the way it's developing, and it's going to be interesting how they end up.

Fionavar and Bril should be seeing the eagle circling down a ways south of them. And any other observers around Fornost.

Just so you will know, and CR too as he is waiting, I will try my best to get a post up sometime today. Dont want to hold up the show. And CR, try to restrain your feathered friend from feasting on Caloo (glad he thinks she would be tough :D) because then Bril would just have to do his direwolf imitation and things could get messy :P And Fiona would no doubt go after him with her flute, and maybe an acorn or two

Luthy, if Illy is ever in need of a real wolf to chase her about, just let Bril know

Great posting everyone. This is starting to gel up now. YAY us.

CR/Shaggy. While reading your comments here I had a thought. Bril COULD actually morph because of a perceived threat from Gwaeryn. It is just a thought, pass no mind if it doesn't fit in.

CR, you cracked me up. Caloo wouldn't taste very good, indeed. She is too stringy. :D

Frelga....whoo hooo.....Geli. Neat Sweet and perfect. :D:D:D
