New Board...

Got an idea, or did we do something that you really find disturbing? Come here and tell us about it and we'll respond.

Enchie... Allow me to encourage you to use Firefox or Chrome with all haste. Internet Explorer seems to not be showing that login button.

What version of windows & Internet explorer are you using?
Hi! I created this site in 1999. I was 23, unmarried, and didn't have kids. That's all changed. I'm working on getting this back to normal again... Welcome. :)

And if you want to help out with the site in any way, EMAIL ME or get a hold of me on FACEBOOK

Well, any link to a post older than 3 May 2004 looks to show the problem.

It seems that all posts made on the old (i.e. the proper old) board are not rendering properly. They contain raw html code such as <BR> or <b> etc, which is not being parsed.

Eg threads from about here on: viewforum.php?f=27&start=1450

I have a question concerning the User Control Panel, more precisely the 'manage subscriptions' and affiliated options.

I can see there to which threads I'm subscribed. It are threads I've been actively posting to and have at one point marked the 'subscription' option while making a post. But is there a way to subscribe to threads one isn't posting to (and never will post to)?
I have a few threads - in the Scriptorium and the Pony - which I read, but it is in the nature of those threads that only those writing the stories post in them (and can subscribe by marking that checkbox). There was a time when checking up on those threads on an almost daily base always resulted in finding new posts being added, but the frantic writing of the days of yore seems behind most - it would be nice to be notified when a post was made, though.

I thought that now that we have the 'manage subscriptions', there might be an possibility there to enter the url of a thread manually, but apparently it doesn't work that way.
If I'm overlooking an obvious solution to which I would like to achieve, please enlighten me. :)

Also, how do the manage bookmarks, draft etc, work? Or are they not active yet?

(I am sorry if any of my questions have already been asked before)

Kaya, there's a link "Subscribe topic" at the bottom of each thread page. I think that by clicking on it, you can get notifications even of threads where you don't post yourself.

Uhm. Yes, you are right.

So. Uhm. Nothing to see here, people, please carry on. :P

Thanks, Rowanberry. :D ;)
