well, since it's a new year, i say it deserves a new thread.

i've already been working on outlines and stuff so that i'm ready to get to it thursday. i tried once before, but it didn't work out too well. i'm hoping this year i'll fare better.

Nice!

Day three and I'm already behind, but now that I've resigned myself to the fact that this cosplay is not going to get finished for tomorrow, I think I'll go back to writing and see how much I can crank out. My MC survived a fall from a 1000-foot cliff face, so I guess that means I have to keep going. :P

impressive. very sherlockian of him.

i managed about 900 words yesterday, but still haven't written today. i'm going to try to get something out once my daughter is bed, though. just to have something done everyday, regardless of how much.

NaNoWriMo 2013 has started...

I decided to participate this year... 6,000 words in two days. Not sure I can keep up that rhythm but I figured I might as well use my days off to get ahead :P :P since I have no idea how much I will be able to write during the working week :D :P

Me, too! I've been generally on track so far, but I missed Wednesday almost entirely and have been playing catchup since then. Tomorrow's supposed to be a write-a-thon day, so I'll be going to a local NaNo write-in and trying to churn out some extra words that my dissertation doesn't suffer during the week.

More fantasy for me. What are you writing about?

Hi Sil,

I don't write as much during the week but I am over 20,000 words already and I intend to write some more today.

Mine is also fantasy I guess you could say though it is more underlined magic, not particularly present. ;-)

I'm NaNoing too! I see this thread has been pretty quiet, and I'm clearly late to the party... but... I've gotten 41k down so far, and I've got 5 days (or 6 if you count today) to push that up over the 50k mark. Heave-ho!!
How has everyone else done?
Keep warm!

So Yona, did you finish?

And Sil did you manage to get some writing done with your crazy schedule?

Finished 51,969 word story. It does feel satisfying :D :D :D

Yes, I did finish! It was not as easy a victory as I would have liked... typing, typing, typing on November 30th is not my idea of a cool and collected victory... but I should not be one to quibble about details such as that.

It is a relief to have November over and done with, and I don't feel like looking at my ms for a good long while!! :) Not that it isn't compelling and all, I'm just a little tired of overworking it in my brain so hard. I hope to let my poor little mind rest a bit before charging back in for the "throw everything up in the air and see where it lands; hence, what still needs filled in" stage.

What do you like to write, Earendil81?
