Crossroads: Comments

Postby Kaya » Fri Dec 21, 2012 11:08 am

Hail and well met, dear reader.

It has been many years since both Jaeniver and Kaya were active writers here on TORC, but needing a creative outlet is like having a contagious disease, and its bouts leave us both aching to wander once more through Middle-Earth. We both have a couple of cranky muses too, due to too much neglect. This is why we created Crossroads.

We hope you enjoy our brainstorms, though doubtlessly our posting speed will vary, and posting frenzies might be traded for longer periods of silence. Still, we are determined to see this story through to whatever end.

Should you feel like commenting on the story unfolding in 'Crossroads', please post them here lest to keep the story's continuity intact.

Thank you. :)

I just gave your story a read. Some really good writing! The first decade after the War of the Ring makes for some great tales!
I noted the past post was over 2½ years ago. Do you plan on continuing it?

Thank you for your kind compliment, Arassuil! :)

The intention of continuing has never really left me, and I still remember very clearly the character arcs and subplots I had in mind for my own merry bunch. At the moment it's just a matter of finding the relaxed time needed for the muses to come out. It's been an awfully busy year at work so far. But Jae was able to visit me recently and that really stirred the longing to write (that and the fact I finally bought the replica of Strider's sword - my inner ranger is still squealing). So who knows, what with the long winter nights ahead.

Thank you Arassuil, for your kind comment.
I sure hope we are both able to find the time to sit down, breathe and continue where we left of. I enjoy writing these particular characters alot and especially together with krista.

I re-read our posts too and I must say it's not half bad for non-English speakers :D Sure gave me hope we should continue.

You mean pen as in writing? Now that just sounds plain scary. :Q The only writing I do these days involves shopping lists, mainly for art stuff. :P Oh, and code. Lots 'n lots of code.

How about we make it a drawing and swooning over hot rangers and horseboys weekend? I have them on bluray. Seriousl,,, work, is turning me mental and drawing is what keeps me sane these days. I'm not sure when and if my writing Muse will return (but it is not this day). :( Upwards and onwards, though. The bridge is near!

Well let's invoke the power of the moot. I'm still in job search mode right now but as soon as one is acquired and money comes ladies we'll have to meet.
We can make it whatever you want but I know for a fact that being with you for a day will spark the muse. She loves moots :D :D plus I've missed you :-) .
