Leaving Now

Postby Ihearthee » Sun Feb 09, 2014 10:54 pm

I'm at the gates
I have not yet entered,
Ready leaving now

I shall not, know
that it was I know not
I shall roam, thither I Forever
would wish I came home, not I
Who Sang to the Moon Silver,
the gates were closed, here
Forever I now Am
Lost

The sight, endlessly tormenting
It is terrible, this River, for to Behold
The Eye not knowing yet all that was
That it shall be, and now Is
forever

I sayeth nay to the sea
Ye may not leave now
below is above All
Wandering, beyond beliefs
bright eyes, shining Always

Grandeur of Flame Undying
Forever Lighting Spirit of Sol

What shall I do now, Oh Great River
I would that you take me, with all I have given to thee
For my heart desires nothing in this world, and I long not to be home
For every home I have ever known, is gone now
As a myriad of stars, they all did fall
As they were marred by the silver winds,
Swallowed by the Celestial Fire, on the Crown of Horizons
My eyes are tired, as they have seen years unnumbered
To long for nothing, is to be nothing now, please take me away

Though "Leaving" do return

Postby prmiller » Tue Feb 24, 2015 10:25 am

Dear poet, with your visions grand,
bring more and ever try your hand
to wrap your heart in poetry,
with love of river, sky, and tree.
Sweep us up with eagle's wings
to where clouds dance and robin sings,
down, down to valleys, dark and deep,
to mysteries the caverns keep.
Though "leaving", come, and join us here,
where other poets may appear.

Blessings,
Parm :)
The gift of rain for the glory of green. Ah, May!
