Galadriel poem

Postby Kash » Thu Jan 29, 2015 5:11 am

Hi,

I wrote this poem today, I've come up with words for the Elven language, so isn't an official version of the Elven language used in the books or movies.

Hope you enjoy it!

As the leaves fall I see you
There where all shadows surround you
Your eternal beauty stands against the darkness
In a halo of brilliant light your head crowns against the trees
There where your people fight against the tyrannical
There your hands point the way ¨
In the tongue of Elven lore
'Mihin u eeral lom ithi'
Within the trees our kin.
'Naur'
Fight!

I am ever grateful when I see
brave forays into poetry.
Your growing confidence to try
the elven tongue and to defy
all nagging doubts that what your write
may not flow well, that words may fight
and keep your heart from being seen...
well, I am glad that you have been
filled up with courage posting here.
Bring more and let us celebrate and cheer!

Blessings,
Parm :)
The gift of rain for the glory of green. Ah, May!
