Resta in ascolto (Keep Listening) Comment and questions

Postby Rholarowyn » Fri Sep 30, 2016 9:01 pm

It has been some time since Parador J and I have been on the beloved boards of TORC and recently the two of us discussed this. Then we learned that Eari too had a desire to play with collaborative writing. This is how three veterans of TORC are returning once again. To brush off the cobwebs or our writing skills, loosen our collars, and see what our muses produce as we return to the playground of the Scriptorium. Our premise is simple, write a lighthearted, short RP type story. Now having stated that, our muses are known to go off into deep uncharted territories, but again our intent is lighthearted and not too complex. We shall see if the muses comply.

We would appreciate your comments, questions, and of course your adoration if you so choose to share these with us.

So True the Arrow, So Steady the Hand

No word in your quiver goes errant,
no thought from your bow is misspent,
no image falls short of your target,
so true are the arrows thus sent.
Your heart with a steady compunction
pulls the bowstrings few others could ply,
your story does more than just function--
your steady hand helps my heart fly!

Thank you Parm for your wonderful poem.

Your words speak truth and excitement, Rho....I'm so happy you knocked on my door asking me to join a little adventure with you and Eari :)

Grabbing my cloak, sword, and shield...I said 'When do we start'!?

No matter how old we get...TORC will always be at the heart of our lives... <3

I look forward to honing my creative words into an enchanting world called Middle-earth!

Let the story begin!

No worries,
Life happens. Good luck with the move ;-)
Never forgetting those who have passed into the West :rose:

Who can say if I've been changed for the better?
But because I knew you
I have been changed for good.

It's funny how some distance
Makes everything seem small
And the fears that once controlled me
Can't get to me at all
It's time to see what I can do
To test the limits and break through
No right, no wrong, no rules for me
I'm free
