tattoo help

Hi everybody!
I need your help guys, cause I really wanna get a tattoo of two words written in elfish characters. The words are "music" and "dream" and I wanna write them in Sindarin or Quenya, in cursive style. I really don't know how to write them. So I was wondering if someone could help me out, since I see there're a lot of experts on this page.

This request should be in the Language forum.

In Sindarin, the noun "dream" would be ôl, and the verb would be oltha- (you'd have to conjugate it to get "I dream" or "he dreamed" or whatever)

In Quenya,
MUSIC is lindalë
DREAM (noun) olor, olórë, lor; DREAM or
VISION olos (olor- for older oloz-, as in the
archaic pl. olozi, later olori). DREAMY olosta,
olórëa -LOS, LT1:259, LotR:488 cf. Letters:308,
DREAM (verb) óla- (said to be "impersonal",
probably meaning that the dreamer is mentioned
in the dative rather than the nominative: *Óla i
Eldan, "the Elf dreams") -UT:396

If you want to write these in Tolkien's Tengwar script, you'll have to ask the folks over in the language forum.

ShaneM, as Mith said, please post your request in either this thread (for Quenya), this thread (for Sindarin), or this thread (for Tengwar).

Welcome to TORC.
