*Elwen*
Meanwhile, in the middle of the rink, Elwen and Smaug still stode, knuckles white, clenched around the waenlainwen (jeez that is hard to spell!). By that point Aniko had reached the ground, and the waenlainwen's viberating had stopped. Aniko slid across the rink to stand 3 feet away from Elwen and Smaug. She looked them up and down, a small grin appeared on her face.

'Well well well, do you two think that you can beat me? Aniko? Look into my eyes children, and tell me that you can beat me, with the two of you who left us early on in your training, and one weak waenlainwen.'

Elwen glared at her in reply, and could tell Smaug was doing the same thing at her side. There was no way she was about to admit she couldn't beat Aniko. Even if it was doubtful, she had to keep her hopes up.

'So quiet. Are you admitting defeat already? Well, you might as well. You left the tower in chacos. You two were some of the strongest of our time, and it was horrible for some people to see you leave. What if you used your powers against us? Even if you didn't, we had lost two of our most powerful people. You know if you fight me you will die. Why not save your own life, and come with us? You can be the most powerful of us all, one of you may even come to rule us all. Why pass that up?'

Elwen continued her glaring, although inside she was less sure of herself. What if she DID give up and go back? But no, she couldn't. The darkness had started to corrupt her, but she hadn't let it finish it's work. She was still her normal self, she couldn't listen to the shadow.

Smaug's face had lost it's nastyness, although she still wasn't pleased. Elwen could tell she was thinking the same thing. Aniko must have put a spell onto her voice to make it more convincing. They had to stop it.

'If you come with me, you can rule us all. You won't serve anybody, besides the Lord of the Darkness, and he will give you power beyond what you have ever dreamed. Come with us. There is no good or evil, only power and weakness. Will you be weak? You know you cannot stay against us forever. Sooner or later we will defeat you. Your choice now will affect the rest of your life. Will you come with us and rule, or go against us and die?'

Elwen shifted uncomfortably. This ruling and power thing was starting to sound pretty good. She knew she shouldn't, but the fact was, she
wanted to. What would happen if she went with Aniko anyways? It would make her life better. She could learn to use her power like she had never thought she would. What should she do?

*Blade*
Suddenly Blade floats in on something that looks very much like canoe paddle (only longer). A hawk (gee Jedi is someone using names off Dragon Knights me wonders?) landed on the handle of the "paddle". A strange little shadow like creature materializes and jumps at Blade. She jumps off the "paddle" and slices the creature with it.

"That'll teach ya t' me with me you three foot creep!" But its not over yet. Thousands of little shadow creatures suddenly appear from nowhere. This could only mean one thing, someone has let open the door to darkness. It would be the only way these creatures could survive. She looks up at Elwen, Smaug, and the strange figure behind them and gives them a crazy smile.

"I guess I should bring Jedi, eh?" The others nod and she zooms off on her "paddle" (I will now call it a.....Sticky Wicket!), the others giving her strange looks.

*Tanta*
Just when Tanta, Haldir, Percy and Homer thought that it was looking like the firbirwen were beginning to lose, the shadow creatures began swarming around them. They jumped on Percy and Homer in swarms, but the fell beasts merely shook them off. There's no evil creature in the world that can beat a properly tamed fell beast!

Tanta's arm begins to sag under the weight of her sheild. Seeing Blade suddenly appear from nowhere she runs over to her. After a breif conversation Tanta walks back into the middle of the fight. The sheild has molded itself around her arms. Now, instead of a sheild, she has arm bands! Much easier to use!

The shadows (do these things have a name?) swarm around Haldir and Tanta once more. One of the shadows has managed to steal a mini-wraiths sword, and charges towards Haldir. The sword plunges into him, and Haldir falls down onto his knees.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Haldir merely stands back up again, pulls the sword out of his stomach and continues to fight.

*Elwen*
Has anyone else noticed that the elves in this forum don't die, no matter what happens to them?

An idea begins to form in Tanta's mind. Grabbing Haldir and holding him in front of him like a sheild, Tanta charges through the melee, towards the centre, where the mini-nazgul and shadows are fighting. Several shadows and some remaining firbirwen try to slice at Haldir, but the injuries don't seem to faze Haldir, who merely slices straight back at them.

When several more of the shadows and Firbirwen have been killed, Tanta finally lets go of Haldir and looks around, surveying the battle around her. Her comrades seemed to be holding their own. Percy and Homer seemed rather bored as they stamped around the arena, picking shadows and firbirwen off at random.

It was then that Tanta noticed Smaug and Elwen facing Aniko in the middle of the arena. A dazed look was fixed firmly on Smaug and Elwen's faces.

Tanta suddenly realises what Aniko is trying to do, and rushes up to her two friends, desperate to stop them from falling under Aniko's spell.

She charges towards Aniko, sword ready. She manages to get no more than two feet away from the sorceress however, when her sword seems to hit an invisible wall in mid-air and she bounces back harmlessly.

"What!? This is meant to be a magic sword! It should have broken through!"

Sheathing her sword once again, Tanta tries a different approach. She walks up to Elwen, and slaps her in the face, hoping to wake her up.

"Elwen! Smaug! Don't listen to her!"

Aniko's gaze then left Smaug and Elwen, as she gazed straight at Tanta.

-Whew! That was a monster post and a half! I think I'll leave it up to the rest of you guys to go on from here. I'm fresh out of ideas.

Will Aniko kill Tanta as easily as she could? Will Smaug and Elwen be fooled by the sorceress' spell? Stay tuned for the next exciting monster post of... Damn! We still don't have a name yet do we?

*Smaug*
Oh bloody hell *curses*...I wrote a really long, detailed post last night...and it didn't work! *curses the computer*

The firbirwen gathered quickly, moving as silent as shadows, though that be almost what they were. Satch, Blade, Tanta and Jedi thankfully were keeping the creatures at bay, though did not know how much longer they could hold off. Aniko smirked and raised her eyebrows in amusement.

"You did not seriously think you could contend with the will of Aniko. There are none who can. Come. Join us. You know you want to. Hope to. There is nothing left for you here, nothing." She began to rise up once more into the quaking sky, and there was an edge to her voice which clipped off the end of her words in an annoyed tone.

Elwen looked up at her as she rose. In her eyes there was some deep knowledge, some part of her knew. Smaug turned her head to one side, as if some debate was telling her otherwise, and glanced at Aniko, unsure. Elwen slumped on the dirt ground and ran her hands through her hair, desperately trying to think. But it was like trying to concentrate on a complicated problem during a heavy metal concert. Half her mind told her to do one thing whilst the other told her to do something completely opposite.

She got up, standing sure. Thrusting the arm holding the waenlainwen outwards towards Aniko, she cried some undistinguishable war cry, the sounds of the firbirwen ringing in her ears. The army of mini-nazgul rushed forward, towards the enemy, wielding their mini scythes in the air menacingly.

Aniko looked down, displeased with what she saw.

"We can teach you." She nearly shouted, though it was more of a hiss. "You know you are capable of great things." Her face contorted into a mix of fury and what looked like envy. "You don't know what to do." She rose higher into the sky. Never did she blink, but her grey eyes seemed to flash in time with the lightning, though perhaps that was just the reflection of light. "It is hopeless. None shall be spared. You have a chance. Use it." She was practically roaring with the thunder. And then her eyes seemed to well up with supposedly tears. One droplet rolled down her cheek and fell, down towards the barren ground below. And in the moment it made contact with the Earth, rain poured heavily from the brooding sky. So thick it was barely visible to see three feet in front of you.

"See." She shrieked. Lightning split the sky, shattering it. Thunder roared, though it sounded as though the sky was in pain rather than a natural process proceeding lightning.

Aniko held her palm out.

Elwen and Smaug looked up, knowing, yet disbelieving. Aniko clenched her fist. The Earth shook and trembled, breaking the earths surface, crushing almost the entire army of mini nazgul in the process. Their shrill shrieks echoed in the dim evening.

"YOU" Aniko spoke softly, though a coldness continued to cling to it, "can do that, if taught properly."

****************************************************************

Satch rummaged her pocket over and over again, and couldn't find the thrird waenlainwen. Despairing, she whistled for Bob, who came flapping round in an instant. Maybe he knew where she had er...misplaced it. She needed to find it. There wasn't a choice.

Tanta was atop Percy who was having fun setting fire to the firbirwen; despite the rain. The shadowy figure flailed in the downpour; nothing can put out fell beast flame.

Jedi and Blade couldn't be found anywhere...

And still, Smaug and Elwen continued to think, their fell beasts by their side. Whatever their masters choice, they would go along willingly.

The rain thudded endlessly in the dull silence...

*Elwen*
Has anyone else noticed that the elves in this forum don't die, no matter what happens to them?

If I wasn't busy fighting Aniko and it was up to me to talk about the fighting some of the elves WOULD be dead

Smaug, when you are done typing your post, copy and paste it into a word document and leave it there, so if TORC doesn't work you'll still have it and you can try again. That's what I do with long posts

***

Tanta suddenly realizes that there is a ward around the three women, that nobody can pass unless they can destroy the ward (which means nobody in the general area could, execpt for Elfin, but only Elwen and Smaug know that at the moment, and Elfin...). After Aniko had turned her gaze back to Elwen and Smaug, Tanta turned and fled down the halls, warning anybody she saw who wasn't fighting not to disturb Elwen, Smaug and Aniko, who knows WHAT Aniko would do. Or for that case, Smaug and Elwen, if the evil in them took over.

***

Elwen looked around at the bodies of the dead Nazgul, and could hear the yells of her shaken friends. She knew what kind of power these people can use, and she knew she could do that, but if she went with them, and learned how to use it, and then escaped again...

Smaug seemed to read her mind, because at that instant Smaug shook her head as if to say 'No'.

Elwen sighed, and pulled herself back up. She wasn't going to look dumb and weak infront of Aniko. Aniko didn't know that Elwen knew more than the tower thought she did, not only did Elwen and Smaug escape with a waenlainwen, but a few books as well. Elwen was also skilled enough to feel when magic was going on around her, and could tell they were warded. There was no way out. She wasn't powerful enough with her waenlainwen to counter Aniko's ward, she couldn't leave until Aniko let her go. Or until she died.

Elwen looked at Aniko, and saw the pleasure in her eyes. As if it was a great effort, Elwen nodded her head. Aniko's face didn't change expression, but Elwen could feel the air around her stiffen, and bind her legs to the spot in which they were in. She couldn't move even if she tried.

Aniko shifted her gaze to Smaug, and out of the corner of her eye she saw Smaug hesitating. Why didn't Smaug just say yes? They could become powerful, and then take over the world. Isn't that what Smaug wanted?

***

Dun dun dun dun...ok, we need a name for Aniko's people, and what Smaug and I used to be...any ideas anybody?

*Elwen*
You do all realize I decided to be evil right?

Of course how long is that going to last?

*Blade*
As Blade reentered the arena, she saw Tanta and headed strait for her, flying on her Sticky Wicket.

"Where's Jedi?" Blade shook her head.
"I can't find her. She might be heading back here."
"But we need her now!"
"I know! What's wrong with Smaug?"
"Oh, don't worry about her, she'll be fine."
Smaug: "Mommy I want my buttercup." Suddenly, a sword almost chops off the two girls heads.
"Elwen?" What has happened to Elwen? What's wrong with Smaug? Why is this post so random and pointless?

*Tanta*
Oh man, this is getting very confusing and twisted.
Elwen, Smaug. You guys can't go evil! Well, not too evil.
Ah, the suspense is killing me.

Tanta smiles as Blade arrives. "What do you say? You wanna help me kill some firbirwen? It's lots of fun, and they die a lot quicker than a lot of other things in this forum. "

-shoots a pointed look at Haldir, who suddenly bursts out in tears-

"Curse the evils of firbirwen," Haldir cries. "I'm sick of being killed and tortured and all the other crazy things you do to me. I want to go back to the sweet forests of Lothlorien!"

Tanta thinks for a second, kills a firbirwen, then shakes her head at Haldir.
"We need you here. I don't know how much longer people are going to hang around, and if Elwen and Smaug turn against us then we're screwed. If I'm going down then you're coming with me, whether you like it or not. If you're going to be a wuss then here."

Tanta throws him her sword.

"Blade, have you got any weapons that I can use now? Something that can do a lot of damage?"

*Satch*
Satch paces up and down, trying to remember where the waenlainwen she had, had got to.

‘shiny shiny..’ she thinks, looking around for anything shiny

Then she spies two ducks in the corner fighting, as she watches, she sees something black and shiny in between their beaks. Satch dives across the hall, avoiding the remaining crazee firbirwen, and did a rather spectacular (if I do say so myself <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>) jump at the ducks.

Unfortunately the stoopfid things can fly so they leap out of the way and Satch smacks into a wall.
She picks herself up, and glares at the departing ducks which are still fighting in the air, and rubs a bump forming on her head.

“stoopfid ducks” she grumbles, readjusting her Matrix-stylee sunglasses thingys

She runs over to Tanta, and looks at a sobbing Haldir in amusement.

“I need you to come with me” she whispers

Satch calls Bob and he comes swooping down. She leaps on, Tanta behind her. Bob starts flying into the air after the two ducks. Tanta glances down to see Haldir looking up in horror.

Just as they getting nearer to the ducks, they hear yells from below. They look down to see Aniko staring up at them, a look of anger on her face.

*Elwen*
Elwen awoke suddenly, never realizing that she had been asleep. Moonlight shown through the bars on the window. Where was she? Why was there a piece of cloth covering her mouth? Most importantly, what had happened?

***

Smaug sat only 5 meters away, bound and gagged like Elwen. She had been trying to wake up Elwen for the past few minutes, and was glad she had finally sucedded. Smaug vaugly remembered trailing off after Aniko, very pleased with herself, and suddenly she saw Aniko turn around, and hit Elwen on the head with a piece of metal. Smaug leaped out of the way towards Elwen, but the metal had found her head too, and she crumpled to a heap next to Elwen.

Her head was pounding, and she knew Elwen's must be too, but they HAD to get out. What could Aniko be doing?

***

*Smaug*
The pain throbbed in both Smaug and Elwen's heads, constantly thudding, blocking out any kind of communication possible, let alone sight. Not that there was much to see. It was a dark, dank room, or cell for want of a better word, with a dirt floor and cobblestone walls. The only source of light was the moon, who's subtle rays gleamed on the floor.

The barred window was high up near the ceiling of the room, and besides the growing darkness and moonshine reaching through the window, there was a dark red glow to the sky, or what could be seen of it.

Even a small movement of the head would send pain streaming. But pain didn't seem to be the most important issue at that time. Smaug sat upright and propped herself against the cold wall to prevent herself from collapsing.

Elwen stirred a little. The world spun as she tried to sit up. How could this have happened? Why? Everything was perfect. They'd had the army, which proceeded to kick Firbirwen ass...the Waenlainwen was...

And that was it. Neither of the two could remember exactly what it was. Where had Elwen's Waenlainwen gone? And where was Jedi? *seriously as well <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>*...Satch..Tanta...Lady G...What had happened to everyone?

Aniko was nowhere to be seen, not that Smaug or Elwen precisely cared, but it was unsettling not knowing where she was.

Smaug lay back her head and wondered what had become of the Fell Beasts. And then the thought returned. Smaug's eyes shot wide openWhere had Elijah and Dominic gone?

Satch, Tanta and Lady G looked up hopelessly at the tower they were about to attempt to climb. All black and turrets. The sole consistants of the tower. Or at least what they could make out in the dead of night. Not a star shone in the reddish sky.

*LadyG*
*Satch Tanta and Lady G studied the tower from a small forest near by. They couldn't even see the top because it was so tall. There were thousands of little windows and they had no idea where Smaug and Elwen were*

Satch: We must think of a plan quickly who knows what Aniko might have done with them.

Lady G: If only there were some way to contact Elwen and Smaug...

*Elwen*
Dominic swung around, his sword flashing quickly in his hand before it dissapeared into his sheath. You could never be too careful going around corners...

Elijah was tiptoeing behind Dom, trying to make the least amount of noise possible. He had nearly fallen over the first time Dom pulled out his sword. Elijah didn't like voilence. Actually he was a wimp. During the fighting while Dom was trying to clear a path to find Elwen and Smaug Elijah was wimpering in the back with his eyes closed.

Dom got down to the ground to study the footprints on the floor. The arena had a bit of mud by the fell beasts, so almost everybody had mud on the bottom of their shoes if you were wondering. He saw a realtivly small pair of feet walking towards the dungeon, and two other pairs slightly smaller, following with dragging feet, as if they regretted what they were about to do. Dom was sure it was elwen and smaug. Before Aniko had returned Dom had put a mark on the bottom of elwen's shoe. An 'E'. He could barely see it on the ground, but it was there.

Quickly he got to his feet and pulled Elijah along with him, who after a few steps yanked out of Dom's grasp, whiping off the dirt and blood from his sleeve.

TO BE CONTINUED... *tensionful music*

(fun fun! <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>)

O.M.G. Satch, that is the longest thing I have ever seen! I shall read all of it tomorrow, and possibly continue to do so for the next three months. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0> <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>
But in the meantime, I will gladly appreciate the Nazgûl with you!
*Appreciates*
Say, Satchie, you should join us in the Belly Dancing Ringwraith over in Tom's House. Great fun that place can be. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

WOW! We finally have the entire story, all in one place.
Elwen and Smaug seemed to know what they were doing though, so until then, I am afraid we are stuck to fighting firbirwen.

-groans as she looks around at the amount of firbirwen still left to kill-

You guys want to give me a hand. As you can see, Haldir is no longer a sobbing wreck, but without Elwen and Smaug, what chance do we really have? They can't just leave us here!

Oh, and sticking to the title of the thread, I most definitely appreciate the Nazgul, and all the cloth it took to make their costumes.<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

*sighs* Ah okay...the story will continue...I'll have you know it takes almost 45 minutes to think of something though<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Elijah yelled as several firbirwen burst in through the arena door, cracking it off it's hinges. Dom immediately rushed into action, swining his sword around his head as though it were as easy as tying your shoe laces...which really isn't a good comparison seeing as some people can't tie their shoe laces...*cough*...I mean...*ahem*...on with the story...
ELijah strode several long paces away, then got out a very long pointy spork upon which he added further sporks, until the device was teetering out in front of him. Worrying his effort would've been for nothing, he grasped the extended spork firmly and began poking the Firbirwen, which succeeded in nothing but pissing them off, agitating them...which did help slightly on Dom's behalf<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0> A gang of the shadowy creatures were surrounding him, but had to turn around every two seconds as they were being repeatedly prodded. Dom's sword soared through the air, dispersing the creatures to nothing but ash. The world outside seemed strangely quiet.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Smaug and Elwen sat on that cobblesteon floor for what seemed like an age. The sky stayed the same, ever red mingled with grey, noises shuffling outside the large wooden door where a warm light was filtering through the crack under the door.
Elwen and Smaug had stared at this door for an immense amount of time, as if expecting their glares enough to pry it open, so when the door did shift aside, the two were rather shocked. The person on the other side did not show their face, but slipped a scaly hand around the door and bid them to follow. El and Smaug warily got up and with what little energy they had left, followed suit after the creature, which, oddly enough, reminded the pair of the Nazgul, minus the armour. The hall leading down was bright with flame which was at least a little comforting, even if they WERE in the tower of the end of the world...

I'll leave you peeps (Lady G, Satch and Tanta) to finish your half<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>

Muahahahahaha <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-devil.gif"border=0> <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-devil.gif"border=0> <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-devil.gif"border=0>

Btw, we must get Lady G back here

Elwen and Smaug followed their rescuer down a hallway that Elwen could have sworn wasn't there when they came down earlier, whether that was an hour or a day ago, she couldn't tell.

Minutes pasted as Elwen walked down the hallway, with her chin up, but her feet slowing her down. She was really too tired to walk that far. There was room enough for three men to walk together, although it seemed quite cramped. The white hallway had no apparent end, and no doors on either side. In fact, the only things in the hallway were the lamps placed every few meters apart, every other giving out a dull red light, while the ones between seemed to fill the hall with an unnaturally bright light.

Elwen felt her knees growing weak, and looked to Smaug on her right, who had a glazed look in her eyes, staring straight ahead. Elwen suddenly stumbled to the floor, and Smaug helped to pick her up. The rescuer, who was wearing a black cloak that looked odd in the surrounding hallway, glared back at them and motioned for them to hurry up.

***

Seriously Smaug, 45 minutues to make that up? The longest I spent on one of these was about an hour, but it was really long-I couldn't say this took more than 10 minutes...but then again I'm not that great at judging time...

Ooh! Ooh! I want to add to the story! Can I?! Can I?! Can I?! <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

After an unmeasurable amount of time spent purely spectating the fighting, Pinky started to get the feeling that this wasn't the same fight she had begun watching some time ago. 'Something about this doesn't seem right. And where are Smaug and Elwen?' She thought to herself, uneasy at the turn of events.
Suddenly Elfin popped out from a doorway behind Pinky, startling her greatly. Pinky gasped in surprise. 'Oh, Elfin, it's you. Is it just me, or is this fighting getting a little out of hand? And where have Elwen and Smaug got to? Aren't they the ones who are supposed to be fighting?' She asked, slightly more than peeved, the worry in her heart ever growing.
Elfin only stared for a few short seconds, but to Pinky they seemed like hours of questioning, cold glances. 'WHERE have you been?! Did it actually take you THIS long to notice that something was wrong, and that this wasn't your run-of-the-mill battle?' Elfin asked Pinky, screaming in her bewilderment.
'Um... no?' Pinky responded sheepishly.
Elfin sighed. 'Look, do you want to help us out, or is it too scary for you?'
A stern look of willfulness overtook Pinky's shy facial expression as she looked up at Elfin towering before her. She knew now that she had to help her friends, and that this was more desperate and risky than she had ever imagined. She had to do whatever part, however small, she could. A smile stretched across her face, and her blue eyes twinkled. 'Let's go play with some Firburwen!' <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-devil.gif"border=0> Pinky stood next to Elfin and unsheathed her sword, the pink blade glowing wildly. The two set off towards the center of the arena to aid those who fought for the light.

<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0> Any good? If not I'll just go hide in that corner over there... *Points to a corner where ducks are humbly pecking at corn on the ground*

PINKY! Thank goodness you're joining in! And don't worry, you're doing great. Besides, we need you more than the ducks do!

By the way, has anyone seen Jeff the evil duck lately?

Tanta and Pinky start looking around for the missing duck.
"Up there", shouts Pinky, pointing to a small white figure in the other side of the arena.
Tanta squints, trying to make out what Jeff was up to. Haldir steps up beside her.
"Aaah, that duck is going to feel my blade!" Haldir curses. "Jeff is commanding the firbirwen now that Aniko has left!"
It takes a few moments for the full impact of Haldir's statement to sink in, but eventually Tanta realises. "This means that Jeff really is an evil duck!"
Pinky, Haldir, come on! That duck is going down!

Aha...you remembered Jeff...now where on earth is Satch? ...the ducks are needed more than you know<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>...you can't kill Jeff<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>...hehe...where is Satch? <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif"border=0>

Nowwwwwwww......to continue.....okay, I;m getting Lady G, Jedi and Satch back here<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>...

And woooooonderful job Pinky! *applauds* Welcome to the end!<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Yea it takes me about 45 minutes El<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0> My brain isn't as developed as yours bare in mind<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0> Haha...*cough*,...anyhoo...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Elwen and Smaug continued down the corridor. The blank, never-ending, boring corridor of nothingness. It was as they had feared, remembereing back to their previous list of fears. Most of them had come true, and this was only adding to the phrophecy. Blankness. To be lost, ever wandering, searching never finding, never accomplishing. The cows certainly had not come to haunt them yet, but...you never knew...the cloaked figure continued to lead them along the passage, and El and Smaug began to notice it was leaning upwards more and more until it was rather steep. The figure ahead did nothing but glide effortlessly atop the stairs, every now and then throwing a glance over it's shoulder to make sure the two were still there. Smaug began to doubt the creatures purpose...was it friend or foe? It had said nothing to either of them but beckoned, and that in itself could not determine anything.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Elijah and Dominic gave up. The firbirwen continued to surround them, pouring in from all directions and much to Elijah's dismay, his extendable spork had snapped at which he uttered a cry focusing the firbirwens attention on him. Running out of the arena, the two stood at a length looking out on the battle before them. The firbirwen were beginning to take over the arena. Tanta and Pinky were out waving their swords in the air, while Satch was hurriedly protecting her orange trees with Bob. The Waenlainwen was somewhere no one knew where. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif"border=0>...Lady G was nowhere to be seen either...(where are you?<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif"border=0>)
And still the battle raged, and still El and Smaug bludged up the staircase, and still we need a title and still something humurous must happen soon<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>

Haha...okie okie that took 15 mins...<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0> (Down with Maths!<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-devil.gif"border=0>)

Sweat started to run down Elwen's face, and Smaug's feet had been dragging for the past 10 minutes. They had to stop soon.

Suddenly, Smaug and Elwen were outside, in a grassy field, with random yellow and red flowers dotting the ground. Trees were scattered around, and with the clear sky, Elwen could make out a few old fashioned houses. Birds flew in the sky (I don't know any bird names besides the evil ones <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>), and rabbits hopped around, and if you looked closly enough you could see the occasional chipmunk. Suddenly, the person who had led them through the hallway was in front of them, with it's black cloak covering it's face. Suddenly he lifted the hood up, and to Elwen's horror a huge purple face looked over at her. He pulled off the cloak, to reveal a huge purple body with random ugly green spots. Elwen felt her knees growing weak, and heard a slight gasp from Smaug, and then blackness took her and she saw no more.

In one blink the once green fields were blackened and grey, the grass swaying lifelessly to no wind. The flowers were all but gone for one, sitting miserably, being suffocated by various weeds. The sky was again the grey moody colour, which flashed with light every so often and to their left stood a mangled and deformed tree, bare and black. The creature turned to look at them, and it, too, had changed it's appearance (suddenly understands Elwen's remark about Barney! <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0> woop! Barney! I get it!) and it's hood was once again drawn around it's face. Two red eyes peered out, slicing into everything they met with mingled hate, fury and despair. It looked up at yet another pass of ducks flying above and waved an arm loosely in the air at them. Well Smaug, I'm glad you get the Barney thing, because I sure as hell don't. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif"border=0>

************

Tanta and Pinky tried to push through the endless waves of firbirwen, desperately trying to get closer to where they had seen Jeff standing before.

Haldir, who was killing any random firbirwen that tried to attack from the trios back, whistled at Tanta and Pinky, and pointed towards a dot in the sky.

"If we're going to get Jeff, then we need the fell beasts!" Pinky cried, pointing towards the other side of the arena, where Percy and the other fell beasts were being attacked by hoards of firbirwen, and only just keeping them off.

"Where are they all coming from?" Tanta wondered, looking around as she tried to work out which firbirwen to slay next.

One of the monsters managed to pass Haldir and sliced open Tanta's leg.

With a cry she fell to the ground, clutching her wounded leg. Haldir and Pinky fell back closer to her, keeping the firbirwen at bay.

All of a sudden, the stadium seemed to go quiet (or at least, a little quieter than it had been before).
The light was suddenly stripped from their surroundings, and the sky grew dark....

*******************

Pinky, why don't you add a little more... or Satch!
Oh, by the way Satch. "Pinkyyyyyyy! Tantaaaaaaa!" a voice calls. Tanta looks around in pain from the floor but can't see where the voice is coming from, but a few moments later a shadow is cast on the ground and Bob flies down from the sky.
When he lands, Satch jumps off and runs over to Tanta, sporking a couple of firbirwen on her way. She pulls a small bag out of her cloak and takes out a plant cutting.
"kingsfoil" Tanta mutters.
Just as Satch is going to help Tanta, a swarm of firbirwen attack and she leaps up sporking left and right.
"Tanta!" she calls "where's Lady G??"
"I don't know!" Tanta calls back, also fighting off some firbirwen (please note this is from an injured spot on the ground, all hail Tanta! *bows down* ...<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>)

*********************************

Shh... best I can do... it's late... She coughed.
"Erm..." Smaug started, wondering what to say.
"Hi," Elwen finished dodgedly averting her eyes from the creature.
The thing looked at them again and let out what sounded like a small hiss. Thankyou for saving me Satch.
Now, where the hell have Jeff and the wainlainwen (or however the hell you spell it) gone.
Tanta winces as she makes an attempt to stand.
