Guild for Pennsylvanians...and nearby folk too

The varied peoples of Middle-earth at times found unity in their pursuits, and all too often experienced deep rifts. Engage in lively conversations as we banter about the differences between the Alliances, and recruit for our People as well. Remember, keep it friendly.

Guild for Pennsylvanians...and nearby folk too

Postby Amrunelen » Sat Jan 10, 2004 4:11 pm

Seeing as a few other state guilds and guilds for other countries have appeared, I thought I'd make one for us Pennsylvanians. I'd like to see how many of us there are here on TORC. :) Hopefully we can use this guild to get to know each other, see if any of us live around the same area, and discuss any Tolkien/LotR related events or moots that may be happening here. Come in and make yourself known. :) If you want, you can give a general idea of the area that you live in and I'll list it by your name.

I have family up in the Northeast, almost all my mom's side that are closely related, including Grandma<u><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0></u> I dont know if this is a TOS violation (probably is, but I DON'T live there), but there all around the Hazleton area, you know, kinda near the Poconos.

Got a little bit of snow here too, but not that much. I think we're supposed to have more on Wednesday night though<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0> I would rather have snow than just freezing cold weather<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-rolleyes.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

I live around Scranton, not in just near Scranton. I had snowdays for the past 2 days, I needed a break. I'm one of those people that work really hard in school & get really good grades. It's comes naturally though, I don't study hard for tests.

In the Slate Belt. We're the Green Knights, Baongor's rivals, I think southeast of Bangor.

Hello! I've been invited here, from the Philly TORC-moot thread in "Events". I'm west of the Susquehanna, east of Pittsburgh, south of interstate 80. I'm sure eventually my stalker will be by here, with my exact location later! <BR><BR>We got some 6 inches of snow overnight! Woo hoo! Going skiing later today.

Mae govannen, Mellyn. I use to live in Pennsylvania, but I moved. I use to live in Lancaster County, not too sure anymore where that is at, other then that it was somewhere in the middle of PA. Anyway, just thought I'd drop in, and say hi, so, hello. Well, time is short for me, Namarie.<BR><BR>~GOG~
