The Dwarves Guild

The varied peoples of Middle-earth at times found unity in their pursuits, and all too often experienced deep rifts. Engage in lively conversations as we banter about the differences between the Alliances, and recruit for our People as well. Remember, keep it friendly.

ARGH! Dwarves, have you any idea about the malice in that prickly little elf from Mirkwood? Yes, J_F, I'm talking to you! Those "crab legs" were the funkiest tasting ones I'd ever eaten; I knew there was something suspicious about you dandy little dark elves!!!!!!!!!!

Riot

P.S. Though you have my condolences, how did that tarty little shieldmaiden manage to track you through Mirkwood, spiders and all?
Carbide tipped spears, venom tipped arrows, triple drawn and finely honed bearded axes, precision balanced throwing axes and knives: I think we may be able to do business, brother dwarf. All of my weapons are guaranteed to have you maiming like a champion: you can ask my apprentice, Lefty.

A word of advice: please mark the air ventilation passages to your tunnels clearly: many an elf-bladder hath sought comfort in these
convenient latrines. Oops.

I get a laugh at the ridiculous posturing of these 'rangers'. They are too drunk or too stupid to realize that had the elves not been watching their backs and covering their tracks that all of Eriador would have been overrun an Age ago.

When do we march on Moria? Angmar? Rivendell?

Couldn't get a elvish husband of you own? J_F may be a bit of a scoundrel, but you must admit, he's impeccably well groomed. Ahh, elves.<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

I wouldn't let this ranger, Riot, in if I were you WW. I've seen her around. She's a little off, if you know what I mean.

**Leans over to Turuna, Grandaughter of Galadreil**
Do you think you could teach me how to make lembas? My elvish in-laws have been very hard on me about my cooking. My hot stew does not impress them.

Che. These dark elves have little use. True that the Eldar have forged an alliance with men, but these silly little Sindarin only seek to emulate that bleach-blonde tree-hugging twit in Lothlorien, with the notable failure to protect their borders from fell beasts. Or, in the vernacular, they can't make a shoe big enough to squash the spiders that run amok in their dank little woodlands. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>
As for drinking, it doesn't take much to topple an elf. Better watch him, boys. Though men can't outdo halflings or dwarves when it comes to ale, they certainly rank above the prissy little pointy ears.

And as for you, lark, an elvish wife you mean? And J_F, impeccably well-groomed? Only when he lets you bathe him. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-rolleyes.gif"border=0>

As for Durin's people, since I was in the general vicinity of your realm, I merely dropped in to warn you. Though I do have some weapon repairs that I would gladly pay for.

Riot

drinking and axes don't mix my friend. drink the night before you swing the axe, you need to hit waht you are aiming for.

Eberi, sound like somehting a bard would sing. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

lark and J_F, sounds like, um, a personal problem. But there is nothing wrong with marying a half-Dwarf. might have dwarvish children!

LadyG, good to see you here, grab a drink and make yourself at home.

Arwen, cave tunnels? as in cave in a tunnel or did you mean carve a tunnel? either can be interesting work, but caving is much more interresting to non-tunnelers.

-WW

He is most certainly a dwarf, brother Darwin. I stole into his tunnel
last night and found him curled up with his Dwarfs Illustrated Swimsuit Isuue and snoring like a mumak!

It seems that some of the local dwarrow are up to their usual mischief: stealing crops, teasing cattle and abducting young elf-girls. We try to keep a close eye on the more rambunctious ones.

We found nothing too extaordinary: we were somewhat puzzled as to why he sleeps in the long, blonde wig.

He must be a sorcerer as well. Everything that we took ( several ounces of gold, a few poorly cut gems) had turned into dead leaves when we arrived home. More Dwarfish mischief!
