Council of Teens: Reloaded! (please read 1st post)

The varied peoples of Middle-earth at times found unity in their pursuits, and all too often experienced deep rifts. Engage in lively conversations as we banter about the differences between the Alliances, and recruit for our People as well. Remember, keep it friendly.

*boo*

caffeine is a drug, but I can think of ones that are a lot worse to consume, so I don't think twice about my diet coke addiction. 8)

Hey there! I was surprised, but really happy, to see you back around here LOL.:D I was a real ringbearer once, now that I think about it.... but I will always be TORC's #1 ringbearer!

Is this a summer holiday, even though it's winter down there? Or is it your winter holiday, which would make a lot more sense. Actually, just ignore me.

Halo ekfy. maybe you should start stalking prince caspian/ben barnes. He is indeed quite pretty. I still have never even seen the movie version of Wardrobe though. :-/

and LOL, I can imagine the amusement your boyfriends flatmates provide, which is probably worth the..smoke? whatever it is?

Actually Ugluk isn't the original creator of Man or Woman of the Month, he just threadmaster now because whoever it was doesn't post here anymore I think.

Not that that doesn't mean you can't blame him... :P

Augh only 3 more days.

We're going to see Fiddler on the Roof in St. Louis and my mom's going to make me a cheesecake. It'll be a nice change from my usual dinner and a movie routine with a ice cream cake from Dairy Queen or something.

And I was also accepted and registered into a new uni I'm transferring to recently. I'll be dorms built this summer, which is awesome because if I would have gone back to the college I attended last year I would also have been in new dorms built..well, all last year and this summer. It's a beautiful campus and I can't wait. :) Chicago pwns.

THIS.

How's it going, kiddos?? I'm about to be too old for this guild, I think, so it may be fitting that I come by to say hello for the first time in over a year!

GARGH!

I'm alright, I suppose, though still shell-shocked from Dark Night. I think that film re-wrote me a bit.

Hey Echo! :D

Technically I'm too old to post here now, but who cares? It's not like there are many teens left on TORC anyway. I know what you mean about TDK. That is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.

Elfyyy!!! How are you?

Yeah, Inwe came back. I'm not even really sure what got me back here, lol. Not that I don't like being back... :P

So how is everyone? I've missed you guys! I'm now an addicted concert-goer, carrier of a bashed right ring finger, singer/guitarist...um, and rarely stop with the music. 8) I'm so cool.

The Dark Night? It was good, but I can't say I got a good enough impression of it. When I saw it, my mind was mostly in a different place...I actually had to run to the bathroom to cry once. :|

I read Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse very recently, and I'm now almost done with Breaking Dawn. :) I kind of need a life. :P

EDIT: Oh, about the 'getting too old for this thread' thing, I just turned 17, so I have a good few years 'till I have to worry about that.

I'm pretty good, staying busy with uni and an on-campus job. And I'm pretty sure BT got you back here, right? :thppt:

How could you not like TDK though? It's definately one of my favorite movies ever, a masterpiece. And I don't throw words like that around often. I  it muchly.

I also read the Twilight series...in a little over a week. :P The first one is by far the best - I didn't even like Breaking Dawn very much. I am looking forward to Midnight Sun though. :)

Hahahaha! *coughs* Sorry. I met a dude with a coke addiction this summer; he's pretty awesome. (Not because of the addiction, duh) :P

Ugh, Elfy, was it that obvious? Has he been bragging about it?

Yeah, I read the Twilight saga in around that amount of time, too. I adore Twilight (as in, the first book of the saga), I think a lot of the first books, movies, etc. are the best. Maybe because it's simpler, or just the nostalgia of it. New Moon and Eclipse aren't my favorites, but that might be because I rushed through them. I don't remember too much, lol. The same thing happened with the last Harry Potter book, I'd forgotten a good deal of what had happened. I liked Breaking Dawn a lot, though - especially the first book/part of it. Haha, I'm lame. :P

It's sad, I never thought Robert Pattinson was hot 'till I saw him in previews for Twilight; and I've seen Goblet of Fire millions of times - t's my favorite movie of the Harry Potter series so far. I watched GOF last night and I was swooning over Cedric the entire time. I need help.

Underoath came out with a new album yesterday. It's so incredible! I hope to see them for a third time this fall. I can't really explain there life show. Crazy? Brutal? Lol, I dunno.

I'm really bummed: today's the first day of school, and I'm stuck home. Again. 3 of my 5 closest friends that are still in HS are seniors now - including my best friend. The guy I pretty much love, and one of his best friends that I've become really close with are the other two. Yeah, I still haven't gone on a date, or even been kissed yet. I was asked once to a dance in my freshman year, but I loathe dances, and the kid that asked me was an old classmate I'd never talked to and didn't even like as a friend. Ironically, he's my best friend's neighbor. The two who are in my grade are both guys, and one is my best friend's next-door neighbor. Small world, eh? What's even weirder is that that friend and my best friend's younger brother have the same name, and the neighbor's younger sister has my name. So bizarre... Anyway, the friends in my grade are both guys, so I think I may feel like I'm in a little HP trio next year. (two guys and a girl) :P

I think I'm done rambling.

:cry2:

BEER?!!! EWWWWW!!! Insult much?! :P I am a spirit person and therefore have gloriously few hangovers!! (wine in case of emergency, or it being provided free)

Oh yes, I passed the last of my level 2 law papers and so finally am on the specialising level 3!! (as well as not having to repeat any incredibly boring year long level 2 papers) :horse: 8)
(naturally no environmental law papers are being offered next year  but never mind!!)

Anyone got any magical stomach settling cures?

Silly, wine's classsy as crap & I am a classy lady! ...who uses the word 'crap' (& other worse explitives) on a daily basis *tehehe* :P
But yes, beer is icky. For the most part, at least.

Sooooo nice to be back! Glad to see a few familiar faces still around :)

Law school? A useful application in life? Who would have either thought? Well congratulations on finding that application! :D

I haven't read LOTR in years. :( Seeing, I'm a terribly slow reader despite my love of it, and the only time I have to read is the summer. But by that time I've accumulated such a stack of books I need/want to read I don't have time. :|

Eck, back! had to go basicly without net for a few weeks there (survived waay better than expected!!)

Yeah I'm still sacrificing other books I want to read over summer... I want to get to 60 or whatever and be able to say I've mantained at least annual readings lol.
Currently trying to power the entire Harry Potter series before lectures start again and it's back to no time except for textbooks and case law... *sigh*

And NZ just started series 5 of Lost - eeeeee!!!!!:D
