Riders of Rohan: Fourth Muster

The varied peoples of Middle-earth at times found unity in their pursuits, and all too often experienced deep rifts. Engage in lively conversations as we banter about the differences between the Alliances, and recruit for our People as well. Remember, keep it friendly.

I think that is a good idea, Lark. Don't worry about Almiel. I have something in mind for her, just haven't had time to get that written plus the time hasn't been right either. I'll just push stuff aside to get it written when the time is right.

It's an intriguing idea... though you're right that we have done a lot of the girl dresses up as guy and goes into battle sort of thing. I just don't want Maerwyn to end up as a clone of her mom, you know? So I'm going to have to think about it.

wow I hadn't even realized I reached 200 posts, huh, shows how much i pay attention. and ya'll poke me all you want but that doesn't mean I'll post :D meh, I'm not good at writing anyways, not near as good as ya'll. would it be so terrible to leave the girls in Rohan to deal with Lyrria while the guys deal with Dunraith? I dunno, just a suggestion, of course I didn't read the last post, I'll save that for later :D love you guys!

Let's open up a can of pork and beans and roast some hot dogs in Dunland. What do you think about that? ;)

I think the girls could be auxiliary help for the main force, cooks, healers, and such. That would keep them close by, and if this is a war the fighting force will need auxiliary support, but I'm open to whatever you all want to do with them. :)

DAN- our characters could dress up in women's clothes and stay behind to help with the cooking and cleaning and stuff. I'll be the pretty one.

I am really going to try and write something in the next day or two...*gasp*

What can we do to wake this thread up? :? It’s been so quiet! :cry2:

Smor suggested an idea for some plot advancement and J_F and I have been half-heartedly working on a post…mostly just talking about it, though I think he actually wrote a paragraph or two the other day. :P Sorry it’s been taking us so long. Did anyone else have something they wanted to do?

Oh, before I forget!
 HAPPY BIRTHDAY GWEN!!!
Sorry this is late. Hope you had a great birthday!

I can't focus on much other than work right now, so not much help will be coming from me. Sorry about that. :(

Other than being sick on that day (was actually off and on for a week before too :( ), it was really good. I celebrated more on Thursday and Saturday though. :) I'm still enjoying the cake my mother made me. *yum yum*

It’s depressingly dead around here.:(

I have a couple paragraphs written that I could post just to post something, but I’d like to get a little more written first. Christmas is always super busy for me (and everyone else apparently) but I’ll do my best to get a little more done. J_F is supposed to be helping me write this one, but he’s been busy at work.

as much as I'd like to have something to read from ya'll, I think it would be great to wait until it's a good chunk of reading :D yeah I actually am busy too, I guess internet is kinda my down time, but yeah, don't rush it lark if it isn't finished. Everyone have a fantastic and Merry Christmas if I don't post before then!

Just stopping by... figured it's been so long that I'd probably last read it when I wasn't logged in and didn't get the update! Anyone still there?

Hello, can I join you here? I know I need to post a bio and everything, but I'm just asking before I do. Also, is this still the initial RP that you started on here? If it is, I'll read it all, but if not where does the current one start?

Well Lebasi, I figured I'd respond for your plea to join us :D And I say yeah sure! But I'm just a reader here, I don't write the RPs, I just enjoy reading them. I do know that if you do wish to write you do need to post a bio. And as for our currant RP, I believe the one in this thread is the only one, and it's a good one at that! Soooo yeah welcome Lebasi!!!

Yeah I don't know how it works exactly but these things tend to go through fazes. I'm betting that once the new hobbit movies come out there will be a big pickup, and probably once the school year is back in session. *shrug* hoping anyway.

In the meantime i am going to use the absence of people to grease some saddles and stirrups

Oh you give me too much credit. :P I meant more along the lines of when the riders return from their long absences they will find it hard to stay in their saddles as a result of my ministrations. But they will likely get shiny in the process ;)

Awwww... I just noticed that missed seeing Smor check in a while back. :(

where is the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing?...and some other such stuff that I can't remember and couldn't find the quote. :P

Often my mind wanders back to this hall but ironically it's my RL horses among other things that keeps me from it. Life is so strange and so busy!

Welcome to newcomers and warm greetings to those I know and love here!

How can we ever bring this place back to life?

looks around the dusty stable... "Hellooooooooo, anyone here? hmmmmm, is there a war no one told me about? bundle"

I agree lark, even though I haven't been here in a VERY long time, I thought there would be more posts. Hm, oh well, welcome Maranwe, Martin, and Eorlingas Rider (we need a shorter version of that by the way :-P ) since it seems the others are out, ya'll make yourself at home. Again welcome!

*Bump* because I can and I'm making the rounds for the first time in a year or more.

If anybody sees Luke wondering around muttering to himself let him know that I can be found in Imladris shaving the long blond hair off of the elven men's heads.
