What: An *awesome* gathering of Tolkien enthusiasts for a long weekend

Where: The Shire, also known as The Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, near Lexington, KY

When: September 24-28, 2014

Website: Facebook group page:

So, it turns out there are still tickets and spaces available. Some people had to cancel their registration because of various life events, and so now is your chance! If you would like to join in the fun, please go to the Registration page below.

Cost: $395/adult, $235/child (12 and under)

The Cost includes all meals from Wed. night to Sun. morning, all programming, as well as a boat cruise on the river. The cost does not include lodging, which is available on site (Shaker Village rents rooms, like a hotel.) There are also hotel/camping options available off site. For those who are unable to attend for the full time, day passes are available. Tim (aka Master Baggins) is very flexible, so if you are unable to pay the full cost up front, he does accept payment plans.

For information about previous events planned by the same people, check out my threads on A Long Expected Party ( viewtopic.php?t=97296 ) and ALEP II ( viewtopic.php?f=38&t=101508 )in this forum. :)

I would love to see folks from TORc there, and I must say that it is a truly wonderful experience to spend time with people who love Tolkien in such a setting. Any questions, just ask!

As of right NOW, 17 full tickets are available, as well as 5 rooms. Other rooms have the possibility of adding an additional roommate, so don't be shy of coming by yourself or without a group.

And now excuse me, I have to go work on my Silmaril banner.....
