"The Lord of the Pants"

Postby siddharth » Wed Mar 20, 2013 11:46 pm

I saw this game in the movie threads. And I found it super-funny! :D

Take any dialogue from LotR, The Sil or Hobbit, either books or movies and replace the words with "pants" and enjoy the result! :D

Some of the funniest ones in the other thread:

Boromir: "Gondor has no pants. Gondor needs no pants!"

Frodo: "I wish these pants hadn't come to me. I wish none of this had happened."
Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such pants, but that is not for them to decide! All that we can decide is what to do with the pants givent to us.

Gimli at Helms Deep: " Twenty One ! My pants' size surpass Master Legolas again!"

Bilbo: "No Thank you!! We don't want anymore boxers, three-quarters or bermudas!
Gandalf:" And what about very old pants?"

Gandalf at Moria: "Oh it's quite simple. If you are a friend, you speak the password and the pants will open."

Nasty Orc: "Their pants are tight, my lord."
Saruman: "Rip them down!!"

Elrond at the Council: "The pants can not be destroyed by any means that we here possess, Gimli son of Gloin! They are polyester."

Galadriel to Frodo: "These pants were appointed to you, and if you do not fit in them, no one will".

Gandalf: ""He's seeking them...seeking them, all his thoughts are bent on them pants!""

Frodo: "Take them Gandalf! Take my pants! I am giving them to you!"
gandalf: "Do not... tempt me Frodo! Understand this. I would use them for the intention of looking good..."

Thorin (when he arrives at bag-End): Gandalf! I thought you said these pants would be easy to find? I lost them twice on my way!

Kili: We are forgetting we have a wizard in our company! Gandalf must have tried hundreds of pants in his time!"
Gandalf: "Errr..."
Dori: "How many? How many pants have you tried?"

=================================================================
I hope the thread catches on.

I will start off then:

Bilbo: "You have to promise I would get my pants back?"
Gandalf:" No.... And if you do, they'll not be the same!"

Oh, no, this game resurrected?  Sure, why not. :P

Frodo: You say the pants are dangerous, far more dangerous than I guess. In what way?

Frodo about Bilbo: He often used to say there was only one pair of pants; that it was like a great wardrobe: its waist was at every doorstep and every path was its legs. "It's a dangerous business, Frodo, putting on your pants," he used to say. "You step into the pants, and if you don't keep your feet, there is no telling where you might be swept off to."

Gil-galad was an Elven-king.
Of him the harpers sadly sing:
the last whose pants were fair and free
between the Docker and the Capri.

This is easy, I just copy a quote off a quote page, and then edit it!
Pantlingas!?

(Ooh, another poem! I'm going for the entire thing this time!)

Seek for the Pants that were ripped:
In Imladris they hang;
There shall be closures taken
Stronger than Tomato-stains.
There shall be shown a needle
That Thread is near at hand,
For Blemish's Bane shall waken,
And the Half-length forth shall stand.

:lmbo:
(I have quite the injured pair of pants here!)

That was really great!!!

Lemme try a song:

All glittering pants do not glitter.
Not all those lost pants are lost.
The old classic pants do not wear.
Woolen shorts are not reached by frost.

From these pants a fire shall be woken.
A light from them will spring.
Remade shall be the pant that was torn.
The pantless again shalle be the King!

The dwarves of yore wove mighty threads
Bell-bottoms worn in dwarven beds
With pockets deep, for dark things' keep
And jeans in gaudy greens and reds

And also:
Three jeans for the Elven kings under the sky
Denim for the Dwarf lords in their halls of stone
(Calvin) Klein for mortal Men doomed to dye
Undies for the Dark Lord on his Dark Throne
In the land of Mordor where the Chinos lie

Ettinblue I love the second one!!!

Why not something from The Hobbit itself? ;)

Far Over, on misty mountains cold
To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away, ere break of day
To find our thongs and pants of gold.

The shorts were roaring, on the height!
The jeans were moaning, in the night!
Their colours were red, with glazing straps
People there pantless, a-waiting us!
