Old Posters never die, they just ....

Come on over to Tom's House for the lighter side of Tolkien Fandom. Remember Tom's House is both powerful and innocent, so keep it clean and nice.

They become rich and famous and are too busy to go TORCing. But they never forget the fun times they had here and fondly recall "the good old TORCing days."

Old posters never die, they just get dragged away from the computers by their parents, and hauled off on an insanely boring family trip.

Old posters don`t die they forget their screennames and/or passwords,so they have to create a new account, and when they come back they don`t
recognise anyone,so they just lurk about and post sporadicaly,or they
just momentarily(a year or so) lose interest in LOTR and TORC, then their comp doesn`t work for 4 months, and when they finally come back all of their (new) old friends are gone, and no one remembers them.

I believe that would be the more or less accurate telling of my story. ;)

Anyone remember me? :( :atoothgapedsmiley:

Old Posters never die: they haunt us constantly -_^

Old posters never die: they merely begin hunting Snarks but find Boojums and softly fade away

Old posters do die but they resurrect easily

Semi-Old posters (cough *self* cough) don't die they just feel guilty about how long it's been since they were last on and how little they post when they do. (2003 and less than 100 posts - I am ashamed!)

Old posts on the other hand never die: they just spawn multiple progeny:
can anyone say I II III IV V VI VII VIII IX X XI XII XII XIII XV.....

Phew! I was sweating bullets there! Glad to see I'm not the only one! And actually, yea, I do remember you. You used to be on when I was on...

*looks around guiltily and whispers* I dropped off the face of Arda too.

Old posters never die...they just fall off the face of Arda and can't get back up. :P

Old posters never die, they just spend so much time TORCing that they lose their job and are unable to afford internet, so they only get on at the library.

Old posters never die they just...

end up on my walls :-) ...seriously

either that or they travel through wormholes to an underground base in a remote region of an undisclosed planet, waiting and gathering their forces for the day of the Poster Revolution

*appologises profusly for rather normal (or odd however you wish to look at it) behavior and spelling errors located above
