Fantastic Beasts. It was way too long and boring in parts.

Come on, don't be shy. It has been 2 months. I will bring this thread up again. I watched Spiderman homecoming, Alien covenent, Despicable me 3. All are good to been except the Alien one. It is just not as good as the old Aliens.

Missed Alien Covenent while here 'cause I was not here. Will see it when it comes out on disc

The last one I saw; ... Hidden Figures

Pretty routine for a Biopic but a really good one. I would recommend this if this genre appeals to you

I saw Dunkirk last week, wasnt as impressed as I had hoped based on the gushing reviews. I was gonna see Dark Tower tomorrow, not sure anymore tho , looks like its not particularly good.

Sucker for it. One of the best films ever made, my opinion only.

Finally got around to watching Cloud Atlas the other night. There was SO MUCH in it that I'll have to watch it a few more times. I think I'll focus on one time period at at a time.

Until I'm in the mood to tackle that project, I have a new Netflix obsession.... The Last Kingdom. I think it has triggered at least one of my writing bugs.

Saw Happy Deathday. Seemed appropriate for Friday the Thirteenth. :P

Pretty good movie, even had some comedic moments.

Today I went to see the movie Mother.

Not a bad movie, but very strange.

And I really didn't like the ending.

I saw Murder on the Orient Express yesterday. I had not seen the original, nor read the books so had no inkling of who the murderer was. It was beautifully shot, amazing lineup of actors and well done. (Though Branagh's moustache should have a credit of its own, it is soooo large.) Kenneth's Poirot was probably the only let down of the movie, not his fault, people are just so used to David Suchet's excellent performance that it is hard to see another in the role.
