Algiers .... Charles Boyer 8) , Heddy Lamarr .... 1938

Not as good as I had hoped for but anything with Charles Boyer is good for me.

I watched Thor:the dark world. It is in my opinion much better than the first Thor movie.

Avengers: Age of Ultron! Fabulous...but not quite as good as Winter Soldier.

Billobob:

I agree on "Thor: the Dark world." There are Number of serious questions about the plot, but overall, it is much better.

But, As to "Winter Soldier," I have the feeling that the movie makers just tossed a lot of elements and plot lines into it--possibly to distract from the plot holes.

I noted that in the Marvel TV show, there was a reference to it being time to bring in "the Avengers," again. Gee, what a co-incidence. It is only three days before the Avengers movie debuts!

Saw "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" yesterday. There was a lot of CG metal flying around this movie. It was better than OK, but plot holes were evident. If, after Stan Lee goes to his reward, what will they use for comic relief.

Watching Troy right now, it's been playing on the Sundance channel for the last week or so. I've always liked it. Great spectacle and great performances...and anything with Peter O'Toole.

Saw Interstellar a week or so ago for the first time. I think it was one of the best science fiction films of the last 10 years. (I'm not sure how much that's saying :P ) But a very good movie IMO. I originally wasn't excited about it because all anyone talked about when it came out was how accurate all the science was (which, having seen it, is a surprise to me, considering how 'speculative' it was) But I found it to be a pretty good story and well acted. To me it was like they took 2001 (the movie) and made it not boring.

Avengers: Age of Ultron, last night.

I covered my eyes through a lot of the fight scenes (I hate watching all that destruction), but I liked the characters. Good effects.

Furious 7. Basically, Tom and Jerry with cars, same regard for physics or anything to do with real world. Fun, though.
