A week or so ago we saw Popeye, which we hadn't seen since it came out. I had forgotten a lot of it over time.

One of the many remakes of this movie, but, I think, one of the better ones.

Nightcrawler - not as good as I was expecting, although Jake Gyllenhaal was excellent. I was left feeling unsatisfied with the entire film. It's a shame - I think it could have been a bit better if the character development had been slightly different. Never mind.

I do not like horror. I think that Aliens was probably the last one of the kind I saw.
However, I will be seeing "CRIMSON PEAK" This weekend. Blame Hiddleston.
If I survive, I will report.

In the meantime, I watch more "Time Team."

Report:

It is not so much an horror movie, as a :"Gothic Romance." There are lots of scary elements, and a wonderful house.
It was well done.
I deserves its "R" rating, for general scariness, but I would take a teenager to see it.

I was surprised by one character, who realizes late, that retribution is coming for him.
