I'm beginning to find fellow Monty Python fans, but anyone else love Rocky Horror? If so, did you dress-up?

Saw it first in High School, with a bunch of people who were really into it. Then saw it a bunch of times in college, usually with Rocky Horror virgins. Never dressed up. Always did the Time Warp!

YES!! I first saw it down in the village at the midnight showing when I was in high school and of course we all dressed up! And brought props, and got on stage - Lord, yes! I also got to see it performed live on stage in London when I was probably about 16, and it was really great - the cast got very interactive with the audience.

My son has been bugging me to let him go this summer, and I think I will - there's a theatre in Montclair that does midnight showings, for all you NJ-ites.

My sister was a legend at Montclair and Long Beach preformances. Long Beach is the one to go to. I used to go with her sometimes but i never reallly dressed up. It was a dark time of my past. I was in fifth grade and seeing Rocky. I bare;ly understood it.

I LOVE Rocky Horror!! Oh course, I'm pretty young, so I just saw it not too long ago, but I love it!!! Not as much as Monty Python, mind you.

Ahh Rocky Horror and my misspent youth. Saw it many times in High School and a few times in college. Was with a group of people that would dress up and act in front of the screen. We got in free, but had to cleanup after word (yuck). I was a fill-in I did Rif a few times and Brad once.

A few years ago when it came out on video a lot of the same group got together to watch it. We were engineers, accountants, programmers, etc at that point but quickly fell back to the old times. A few wives and husbands who had not seen the film got scarred about the sort of people they had married.
I used to be the propmaster for a group here in St. Louis. I understand one of our Franknfurters went on to become Michael Stipe of REM. Makes you wonder.
Or not. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

How many people are going to dress up as your favorite LotR character for the premier of FotR in 12/01?

I for one am not going to go on a starvation diet, acquire a winged beast and sever my head to "see" the movie.... <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

I don't know. There was a time where dressing up and going to movies was cool, but I guess I've gotten old and cranky. It just seems fannish and kinda sad now.
Which is not to say I wouldn't love to see Nienna dressed up like the gang for RHPS. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0> I'm old, not dead.
