Miranda Otto or the hobbit girl who you see gasping at the fireworks at Bilbo's party (not the one who looks like Sarah Jessica Parker)

Miranda Otto ;)
For my part it's rather obvious. Nothing beats Galadriel <3

Liv Tyler's Arwen for me. (the thread needs a male's opinion ;) ) - though her acting is bad.
Galadriel looks freaky!

How is Galadriel freaky? Date Blanchett is so beautiful as her IMO; I especially liked the outfit she wore in TH:AUJ at the council meeting. Showed off her figure very nicely.

Of course, Liv Tyler's Arwen is gorgeous, but at the moment..... I'm kind of besotted with Evangeline Lilly as Tauriel.

Blanchett looks perfect. Especially in AUJ.
But she is especially scary in LR.

"Oooh! I am dark and ominous. I can see into your mind! Speak to you! Make big threatening eyes!!" :D

And her slo mo speech is annoying.

Welcome btw. Join us at Tom's. :D

Liv Tyler's Arwen is the most beautiful woman in the LOTR movies, not to take away from any of the others. But Miranda Otto's Éowyn made me 'fall in love' with her, over Arwen, which surprised the hell out of me, because Arwen's so important to the story. Seemed kind of counter-intuitive, to me, when Arwen's the leading lady, to cast her thus. But if any mortal woman were to give her some competition, they chose very well in casting Éowyn. Still, though, Arwen's otherworldly beauty was in no way affected, much less diminished. She just wasn't well-served with that ... that "voice." If she just talked normal, I feel Éowyn would've been somewhat less of a potential 'challenge.'
