Oldtoby might get evicted if he's not careful :P

If anyone wants to know why Bilbo's surname is Broccoli...

When he was a nipper, he was mad for broccoli. Loved it more than anything. If we wanted to come to us (he's a house rabbit) all we had to was call "Bilbo Broccoli!" and he'd come running.

Nowadays, he's more into toast. He goes mental whenever someone puts the toaster on.

Knocks softly before stepping into the esteemed establishment.
Pulling the appropriate credentials from a leather pouch, the lady
instinctively seeks out the distinquished Hobbituk.

Her card reads:

PR Rep for the fantabulous Lucky Fortune Inn.

Winks at the co-owner of the LFI, smiles,
and then clears her throat.

“G’day one and all. I’ve come to inform old and new
that the Lucky Fortune Inn located in the Welcome thread
has been renovated and about to have it’s Grand ReOpening.”

Especially created for new residents; though open to all,
our friendly staff is eager to welcome you, and assist those
whom are itching to try their hand at Role-play, show off
their talents with verse, or just get acquainted with others.

So do come in, bring a friend and meet some of the nice folk
of Middle-Earth. Man, Elf, Hobbit, Dwarf, all are welcome.

*hands out LFI cards*
3rd drink free for a song

“Oh, and by the way, it’s good luck to buy a bard a brew.” :D

**Please read Erinhue’s introduction on page 1**

Turns, thanks the leaders for their time,
Curtsies, and takes her leave.

Boo!

Still no internet at the flat.... and to be honest I'm doing a lot more with my time because of it. Should my flatmates cave and sort a connection, I'll be back I'm sure!

Hope all are well!

Allo me ol' muckers!

How have you all been hmm? I've been spending my time knee deep in nappies, bottles and baby food (why is it always orange?!)

Im actually throwing a wee Halloween party this sunday and bravely inviting 7 kids (plus my Nyah making 8) and their mums - gulp

Wish me luck

Good luck Ren!!!! I'm sure it will be....a busy night, but a fun one still. ;)

Are you dressing up?

Since I've moved so close to family I got to go to their big party last weekend. It's always a VERY interesting night. :P I went as a domestic goddess (aka 50's house wife) which is just sooooo my personality you know. :P I don't want to wear the costume for school monday cause it's ridiculously uncomfy so I think I may just wear some scrubs, take my medical equipment around with me and go as a doctor or something. We we will see.

What about the rest of these crazy place? Have any festive plans Hobbi?:)

Haven't heard from you in a while Warden. Hope you are doing all right. Drop me an email when you get a chance. :)

Well I'll catch you guys later!

Halloween isn't such a big thing over here Don :) The parties.etc tend to be just for the kiddies.

I've got to admit though, last night I opened the door to a three foot tall witch and a three and a half foot tall goblin and I felt dead rotten for not having any sweets or anything in the house to give them :(

Tom!

Hello! First of all, let me apologise from the bottom of my heart for being so tardy in replying to your post there!

Of course I will adopt you. :) Welcome to the family! Why don't you tell us a little about yourself?

If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them. I've spent far too much time on this website, so there's little I won't be able to answer (er... hopefully).

Alex, sorry for not replying sooner to you too :) It's nice to see you around again! Hows things been?

Things have been alright. ;) School's going better than normal. Maybe that's because the semester has just started and hasn't really heated up yet.

With any luck I'll be in a study abroad program in the UK next year. Any moots in the works for Sept 2006 - May 2007? I looked around the appopriate forum but didn't see any that far on the horizon.

Well, there'll probably be an Oxford one in August.

And then one at some point in the Spring of 07. :)

But we can always arrange one around you... after all, it's not everyday you get to meet up with TORCers.

I might be there in August, I'm not sure how early I'll be flying over. I'm excited about the prospect of a moot - I've had two mini-moots, but never have been to a full-blown, legendary TORC moot. ;)

Hey Hey All

Could we be about to witness another "Wardens Return?" Going by his current form I would be somewhat skeptical, but I can inform you all that we have a nice 2Mbps connection in the flat and I have a wireless card arriving at some point next week! Couple that with I'm not at uni at the moment and never have any commitments before 4.00pm, and you have a lot of posts coming from me I fear!

So... once again, HELLO!

LOL just a dozen or so spots.

You can check out my thread, "Tobys Training Camp" in Talk, I like to think folks find it amusing. Though its been a tad quiet of late. Otherwise I can be found in The Emporium, Tooks thread, the Lalaith Elerina fanclub thread, the Latte Lounge...
