Knocks softly before stepping into the esteemed establishment.
Pulling the appropriate credentials from a leather pouch, the lady
instinctively seeks out the leaders.

“G’day one and all. I’ve come to inform old and new
that the Lucky Fortune Inn located in the Welcome thread
has been renovated and about to have it’s Grand ReOpening.”

Especially created for new residents; though open to all,
our friendly staff is eager to welcome you, and assist those
whom are itching to try their hand at Role-play, show off
their talents with verse, or just get acquainted with others.

So do come in, bring a friend and meet some of the nice folk
of Middle-Earth. Man, Elf, Hobbit, Dwarf, all are welcome.

*hands out LFI cards*
3rd drink free for a song

“Oh, and by the way, it’s good luck to buy a bard a brew.” :D

**Please read Erinhue’s introduction on page 1**

Turns, thanks the leaders for their time,
Curtsies, and takes her leave.

Hello Rune and DD.

It does not seem that anyone has been here lately so I hope that I can get through. I would like to ' be adopted' for a short while just to iron out a few wrinkles that I have.

Most of my questions have been answered just through the process of diligent searching and observing others, but the issues that remain for me mostly deal with 'my settings and personal info stuff'

1. When signing on as a PM, I noticed that my credit card was automatically billed starting my 2nd month. ( I thought that I would have to go and pay manually each month. )

This is not a problem for me as I am not planning on leaving anytime soon but I would like to know who to contact if I should like to drop my PM

2. I thought I had figured out how to use 'my favourites' but I am stumped. I was under the impression that I could somehow bookmark certain places that I visit frequently so I could save some mouse clicks.

I am aware that these answers are located somewhere and have found many as I mentioned above, but I am stuck on these and a few others that I can't remember at the moment.

These are not critical issues of course and I do not expect an instant reply, but I will wait patiently for a response. Bolg

Well I can answer a couple of those. (I do enjoy beating the adopters to answering questions  )

You can buy a PM in two ways...

1. purchase x number of months, which bills you for the total amount up front I believe (so if you buy 6 months worth it will charge you 30 dollars)

or

2. Autorenew, which automatically bills you 5 dollars each month until you cancel your PM

Sounds like you did the 2nd option, if you dont want this to happen I believe you will have to cancel your PM and repurchase it using the 1st option.

As far as dropping a PM you can do that anytime, but they do not refund if you drop it, say on the 10th of the month, it will simply stay active until the end of the month, then go away. You dont have to contact anyone, just go into membership page and there should be an option to cancel it there.

Hi. I'm new here and a tad confused by this adpotion malarky. Does one pick an adopter or is one picked?

And please allow me to introdude Werepenguin Darkness Films

Image

Anyone adopting me must needs adopt the Werepenguin I'm afraid.

Oh, I picked this thread because all the others had 20 pages and you were right at the bottom.
If Weerepenguin stands for anything it stands for the little guy.

As people enter and start stirring up the dust, a loud, angry buzzing, punctuated by coughing and sneezing

The official fly on the wall politely asks that this place be cleaned up.
