I´m thankful that everybody is still willing to welcome me :) and I guess I´ll have no problem with the age - almost double that

I´m a mother of two little children and a full-time job what makes my life a bit stressy at some times. Oh and I´m living on this side of the big pond *snickers* and as you might realize at some time my first language isn´t english so bear with me *winks*

What I´m mostly interested in is RP, chatting and having fun in general. I´m new to TORC but not new to messageboards in general but if there´ll be something I need help with I´ll definitely ask, thanks for the offer :)

Well, I am glad to meet you here. I have a daughter as well so I know the demands on your life. Though I am lucky mine has grown and has a family of her own now. I got to go see them this last weekend and I so enjoyed the time. I dont get to see them very often. They live across the mountains from me.

I love RP!! If there were no fun on TORC I wouldnt be here either. :D I am a kid at heart.

The thought that they´ll grow up gives me hope lol ;)

I´ve come to RP only recently but learned that it´s much fun and addictive

I haven´t grown up too at least not to the age I should have

I´ve seen that there are two sections for RPS but I´m more for the tolkienish version I think. - a bit of adventure would be nice :) and I´ve joined the Bards guild (did I mention that before ?) so I started to write a post for the Chamber Pot, that I´ll hopefully be able to post later ;)

Any other suggestions ? cause I still have some charries who feel rather bored at the moment :D

I, too, am more of a tolkienish rper. I have been in several including one that finished late in 2002. Most have gone somewhat dormant since after the third movie came out. I think a lot of people left.

I am also a Bard of the Bard's Guild. Though I havent been posting any poems of late. I miss Master Hue.

"charries"????? :?: What are you referring to??? characters??

Adoption

Postby VardaElbereth » Sat Sep 24, 2005 5:12 pm

Good evening. My interest lies in the esoteric, high-elven lore. I am studying Quenya at this time and I would like to meet others who can guide me in my search.

Then you've come to the right place :D

http://forums.theonering.com/viewforum.php?f=8 is the language forum here on TORC. I think they have a Quenya learning thread. :)

Hello all.

The forums have changed a lot since the last time I was here, and I think it would be in my best interest to have somehwere to run.

: )

Just thought this looked like the best place for me. Here is a little bio of sorts.

I am for all things Nordic.
I am OBSESSED with the Valkyries (hence the username).
I live in Michigan, w00t!
I am a college student, taking all GenED stuff, I have NO idea what I want to be or anything like that.
In high school I was a hardcore soccer player and down hill skiier.
I was in band and choir, which were amazing.
I am a drama geek.
I am a techie! ALL HAIL THE TECHIES!

Anything else you'd like to you go ahead and ask.

If I have and questions or what not, I'll stop it, that cool?

Ok, thing one, sorry to double post, but the subjects are very different.

Thing two, I have a question already.
Eek!

Ok. I have an idea for a Guild in the Alliance and Guild section (nothing I plan on starting in the next day or two or whatever, BUT! an idea none the less), and I was wondering if there is anywhere that I can post this idea and see if I would be able to see if there is interest.

I didn't see any of this type of topic in the forum, so yeah.
That's what I was wondering.
: )

Graci.

Well probably you can just start a guild and see if folks join.

If you haven't seen it or stopped by pop into our Guild of Michiganders (i think its still on that first page in Guilds) and say hi theres a bunch of us there. What school you going to in MI? :)

I am attending Grand Valley State Uni.

I am really loving it.

But I used to live up by Traverse City, if you know it.

And I will do that, thank-you.

Skuld another thing you might try concerning your guild you wish to start.... email someone like Innocent Evil or one of the other moderators and see if they feel it is an appropriate title for a guild.

I cant believe all the activity here and I wasnt notified of any of the posts. :cry2:  :nono: :lightening:

I dont want any of you to think that I dont care or dont check this out much but they are suppose to be notifiying me when posts are made here. I am sorry if I have seemed to neglect anyone posting here.

*Waves* to Faith Hawkings!! Nice to see you dear.

Nice to see you here VardaElbereth! I think that Old Toby had a great idea there.

Flame have you found an rp to join yet?? I know that you were looking and I hope that you found one that suits you well.

Well, I guess I will be keeping a closer eye on this thread now. I hope that you are all enjoying your time here on TORC! :grouphug:

Glitches

Postby Morganna » Sat Dec 31, 2005 2:42 pm

Hi! It's been a long time since I've posted on this thread, so let me say first and foremost - HAPPY NEW YEAR! Couple of questions I hope someone can answer:

1. I want to change my User Name and can't seem to find a way to do it. Is this possible?

2. I've noticed that, though I've posted a story, and though there are two comments, nothing shows (http://www.theonering.com/docs/19525.html) - it says there are no comments, but if you click on the link to view them, they're there.

Any suggestions?

Westel (my new User Name, even though it still shows as Morganna - sheesh!)

Do you mean you have already registered Westel as another user name? If thats so you need to go to the top of the MB page and it should say:

>>Logout[Morganna]

Click that to log off of the Morganna user name, then just log in with Westel and the password you created for Westel.

I have sent an email and am hoping to hear back from someone soon. I probably should have left well enough alone. I may withdraw the two sections of the story I've already sent in and go back and post them under my old pen name. Live and learn!

Thanks so much for responding!

May Eru bless you!

Can somebody please help me with a technical question. I want to choose my alliance sign but when I turn to my settings there is no list of flags or how they look. :( I looked many times around the page but there are no sign of them anywhere. What can be the reason and can it be remedied?
 Thank you in adavance.

If you are speaking about your banner alliance then it should be either in your Infor or your settings. I would look in both places. Unfortunately I cant even get into mine to see where it would be.

I do hope this helps you dear!

Steps into the room and sneezes with all the dust stirred up by her walking in. Grabs up at a cobweb hanging from the chandelier. Moves to the corner to the broom closet and opening the creaking door pulls out a broom and dustpan. She starts to sweep as clouds of dust move before the broom.

Gosh!! I havent been in here for ages! It seems a bit quiet now.
