Just found this now... I didn't know we have an ooc thread. Oh well. There's little traffic on the 'Dark Elf' forums. Deathstar, your character hasn't been posting recently. What the heck happened to you? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif"border=0>

Netrien, deathstar doesn't have 24/7 net access and school just started. So, he's been pretyy busy. He might try to post more regularly though.

Deathstar, na-bisita mo na ang Tagalog nga thread sa Talk? Good luck lang da sa college ah.

Netrien! I didn't know you spoke Tagalog! By the way, I was speaking to deathstar in one of the dialects. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

Yes, I do, as a matter of fact! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif"border=0> If I may ask, what dialect? If you're referring to your previous message to Deathstar on this thread, I am pretty confident to point out that that is not a dialect. But, well, you're probably talking about something else. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif"border=0>

I was speaking Ilonggo (or formally called, Hiligaynon). It's one of the Visayan languages. Why is it not a dialect? Pinoy ka ba?

Oh, I'm sorry <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif"border=0>. I'm afraid the "nga" and the "da" escaped me. Without those, I presumed (and it could really pass) that the sentence was Tagalog. I neglected the fact that some dialects have little difference to Tagalog, or in this case, their roots are similar. Again, I apologize for that. Well, since you asked, Pilipino ako. Are you? What about deathstar? I understand and speak a little bit of Kapampangan. Do you happen to know that dialect? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif"border=0>

Kapampangan? No. But deathstar and I are both Filipinos who are currently living in the US (separate states though). Ikaw?

Right now I'm in college at dito ako sa Pilipinas nakatira. Nakapunta na ba kayo dito ever? If you don't mind, may I ask kung ilang taon (as in age) na kayo? How long have been in the states? Oo nga pala, medyo wala yata masyadong movement doon sa the 'Dark Elf' thread. Asan na nga ba si Deathstar?

Actually, we were both born there. Nasa Alaska ako. I'm 19 and in college. What university do you go to? I passed the Ateneo entrance test and I would've gone there if I didn't have to move here.

It's good to know that Deathstar is finally back! But it seems that schoolwork is now taking it's toll on me, and I haven't got the time to visit the forums for quite a time now. Anyway Amarie, since you asked, sa UPako nag-aaral as a freshman ngayon. Some of my barkada goes to Ateneo.
