Leoba heard HJ’s yell and came running.

“ You said doughnuts! Oh man, I could do with some comfort food right now. Work has all just gone horribly wrong and it would help if I spent less time on TORC and…”

HM (Leoba) threw herself into her friend’s arms and sobbed her little heart out. Until that is, HJ stuffed a doughnut into her mouth and the ridiculous sobbing ceased.

“What an excellent idea HJ.” HM (I’m going to confuse myself with the initials in here) pulled up a chair and tucked into the doughnut. She spotted the cross-stitch magazine on the table. “Have you started on your banner yet? I got going at the weekend and it’s stopped me being so twitchy when I’m sundered from my modem. I can stitch away and plot my next RP post - it’s very relaxing.”

“It’s a terrible thing isn’t it - the goings on in the conspiracy thread - who’d have thought that TORC could be so dark and unfriendly. I’m dreading the moment when I meet the dwarven character I created - he isn’t going to thank me for only giving him one hand.”

Okay guys, since this has become a real roleplay (as opposed to a cyber role play? Wait! My brain is getting confused!).

Anyway, I've given you a door -- when you get there, make a flight of stairs going up -- but let me describe what you find when you getup there. I know it'll be a while before you do, since you seem to be looking for the others right now. Go ahead and get everyone together before you try the door.

Let me assure you -- it isn't going to be as easy as opening a door and walking back into your lives! :

And I do hope some of the mods get in on the action -- I don't want us to have to do all their work for them!

(Think I threw down the gauntlet hard enough? <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>)

“Wiste, confusion is all part of the fun. Now, if your email from Jonathan and Bardy’s post about Jon & Ted doesn’t get the Mods in on the action, I don’t know what we have to do. Jump up and down and scream a bit harder perhaps. Since you’re here, would you like a doughnut too?”

HM handed the bag to Wiste.
**Snerk**

Well, I am having a ball! <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0> It would be great if more Mods got involved, let's see what happens. One has to admit, if they respond to us, they may see a lot more implied invites in other RP's - and therefore find themselves being distracted from their real purpose.

Leoba: No, I haven't started by cross stitch yet. I have another project on the go since June of Last year!! I want to finish that and I am 90% there.

I draft my RP posts while stitching, too. It is very relaxing, I agree. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Oh, another donut, I think...
Hmm, Maiden_of_the_Ice, I didn't see your post until after I posted mine. Were you looking to meet up with us? I can edit my post to include the two of you if that's what you had in mind.
Hehehe, the levels, ah yes the levels.

I sort of thought we could visualize them the way the actual Forums are stacked on the Forums page . . . with Welcome!! (and thh Lucky Fortune and BEER!!, er, I meant FREEDOM!!) at the top and Tolkien Online-The One Ring (the usual hangout of the mods and admins) at the bottom. What we would not see, of course, is the huge yawning dungeons that lurk BELOW the whole thing . . .

. . . muah hahahahaha . . . .

I sincerely hope you all don't mind me butting in, and I hope you don't mind me contradicting you SilverScribe, but aren't you all In that lowest dungeon, that is so low it's off the screen? I've been looking at this thread (disappointed that it seems to be rather closed at this instance, if not almost finished....), and it seems to me that, according to earlier posts by you people, that the dungeon is a seperate forum, private to the Mods, that is, as SilverScribe says, below all the rest.

Welcome, Guruthostirn. Very cool name -- does it have a secret meaning?

This thread is nowhere near closed -- it's about as open as they come!<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0> Several people, as you have undoubtedly read, have been sucked into the TORC dungeons -- and these are only the ones we know about! If you'd like to join us, write yourself in! This really is a great exercise in RPing. Wow, I was figuring I'd get my head chopped off! In a brief word of explination, I'm a consistancy freak. And I do mean a freak. I will climb the walls in frustration when I see a stupid mistake (for those of you who have read the 4th HP book, you can imagine my reaction to the wild inconsistancies of one of the last chapters).

Ok, I'll take you up on that.
